The question is who could this someone be? Could it actually be more than one individual? Has Cyrus somehow already built a network of operatives who have infiltrated the upper echelons of power in Port Charles?

GH Spoilers – Cyrus Reynolds Is A Resourceful Man

GH fans know that the Corinthos crime family, under the direction of head Mafioso, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), has already done as much. Everyone knows that he has people inside Pentonville, he’s got influential relationships in high places (he’s close friends with, and voted for, the mayor), he bought police officers before. What’s to stop Cyrus Renault from doing the same thing?

The very fact that Cyrus began making power moves against Sonny’s business shortly after getting transferred from Thompson Penitentiary in the Pacific Northwest shows that he’s an incredibly resourceful man. It’s entirely conceivable that Cyrus has tapped into someone easily corruptible.

Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) suggested as much to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). During a brief conversation with the police commissioner, the town’s mayor asked Jordan to look into the financial situation of guards, etc. who work around Cyrus at Pentonville. Jordan suggested this would be no problem. Yet, what if the problem is deeper than she imagines?

Consider the fact that private investigator, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) discovered Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) parole officer has been making daily calls to a burner phone. As he said to Sam at the time, “It’s a burner phone. It can’t be good.” Could she be Cyrus’s “ace in the hole?” Could Dolores Maloney (Andi Chapman) be the key to stopping Cyrus Renault’s ability to communicate with the outside world?

Regardless, whoever this person is has enabled Cyrus to make massive moves against the Sonny’s entire family. He or she has also allowed the Mayor to be shot, and for a lot of former DEA agents to be murdered. Whoever the collaborator may be, that individual is literally just as responsible for these crimes as Cyrus is!

The question now is whether Spinelli, Jordan, or Sam may unearth more information in upcoming episodes that could help uncover Cyrus’s accomplice and stop him from menacing Port Charles for good!
