General Hospital Spoilers: Dawn Of Day Followers Need A New Leader – Will Nelle Take Over The Position?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that even though its leader is dead and buried, the Dawn of Day cult may not be just yet. Someone recently sent out invitations to a memorial for Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin), the founder and former leader of the organization. Interestingly enough, the people who received the invitation were not Shiloh’s friends, but people who had betrayed Shiloh in some way.

The show has hinted that during his time in Pentonville, Shiloh married Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). It was a union that ended very quickly, as Shiloh was killed not long after. It can be assumed that Nelle is after the ELQ shares that Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) left for Shiloh. By marrying Shiloh, those shares may now very well belong to Nelle. But Nelle might not just be interested in that part of Shiloh’s legacy. What if Nelle wanted to take over Dawn of Day?

GH Spoilers – It’s a crazy idea – or is it?

The idea that a woman, any woman, might want to lead Dawn of Day might seem crazy at first. After all, Shiloh used his position as leader to drug its members and have sex with them. Nelle wouldn’t want any part of that. But Shiloh also used manipulation to get his followers to pretty much blindly follow him and do whatever he suggested. IF you look at Nelle’s history, she excels at that.

General Hospital Spoilers – There are still a lot of Dawnies out there.

There are still a lot of Dawn of Day followers out in the world, possibly waiting for a sign. If Nelle really did marry Shiloh, his followers might see Nelle as Shiloh’s hand picked choice to be their new leader. Once Nelle gets out of Pentonville, she has a lot of things she wants to accomplish. What better way than with a limitless number of followers out there ready to be told what to do?
