Did The Writers Just Make This Huge Mistake With Kai?
It’s called ‘General Hospital’ for a reason yet it seems like the writing team has really missed the mark in at least attempting to make the show a little bit more realistic, especially when it comes to their medical storylines.
Kai should at least be in recovery for several weeks. It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “Spinal surgery is often done from the front these days. The scar for that is at the base of the throat, hidden in the natural crease.”

“It’s disappointing to me that they got rid of Maxie’s transplant scar too. I know that it’s a pin in the ass to do special makeup all the time, but scars are an important part of someone’s backstory and history.”
Another critic of the show wrote, “Maxie had heart surgery and doesn’t have a scar. Michael got burned all over his body but he’s pool ready looking like a snack. The doctors in this universe are fantastic.”
And then there was this comment as well: “GH has access to the best plastic surgeons in the world. No wonder…even the so-called poor people are rich enough to afford their services.”
Of course, GH fans will simply have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.

Kai was a mistake from the start. Nothing about him is intriguing or worth rooting for.
The mistake was ever bringing him on the show to begin with. He has no acting talent and extremely boring. Has no chemistry with anyone and watching him and boring Trina as well is worse than watching paint dry.
I had spinal surgery 5 years ago and it was done thru the back and I was up and walking the next day not PT. I also has neck surgery and that was done thru the front and I have a very faint scar at the base of the neck. Dr has it in the crease and you can’t see it unless you truly look.
Can we get rid of Drew already! He’s boring and it’s so unbelievable that a congressman can spend all his time not in DC but scheming, blackmailing people and manipulating Willow. He’s constantly bopping in to someone’s office, home, the hospital to threaten someone. And bring Willow back to her normal self please. Also, Gio is too intelligent not to understand that BL was just a kid and not ready for motherhood. Lois and grandma are the villains for not informing Gio of his parents.
No one in PC has any scars. Not BLQ, not Maxie, not Dante, or Kai. Even Sonny and Jason don’t have any.
I guess the writers also forgot the neck scar on Booklyn? As far as Kai, I could do without him and Trina, although she got a backbone and kicked him out.
Fire the writers and get some to tell stories of love in the afternoon.
