The looks they share, the comments made by the criminal to the good doctor, and so much more means they have some sort of history together. These two do not share a past, but they may have even been “family” at one point.

General Hospital Spoilers – Mason Gatlin’s Mom Is Seemingly Behind All The “Orders”

GH spoilers suggest that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) is taking orders from an unknown woman that is likely his “mom”. Fans continue to speculate about who this mystery boss is, but until the soap reveals this person’s identity, it’s hard to say.

The individual is a female, as hinted throughout past scenes. Whoever this person is, she is related to both Mason and Austin. Could it be Charity Gatlin’s sister or possibly cousin? Regardless, this entire arc has a family feel to it.

What if Cyrus was once married to Mason and Austin’s boss? That would make him and Austin once family, through marriage.

GH Spoilers – Cyrus May Have Once Led The Organization

If Cyrus was married to the “mystery boss” he may have helped her lead her organization. At the very least he was a part of it, which would explain his smug looks and “low blow” comments to Austin about being a better person.

Most fans get the feeling that Dr. Gatlin-Holt is far from the “squeaky” clean person he acts like. Despite pretending not to want to be a part of the crimes committed by his mother’s side of the family, this could merely be a façade.

Maybe it’s not Mason pulling the strings, but rather a good cop/bad cop act to ensure their boss’s orders get executed. Regardless, Cyrus “knows” the real Austin, possibly because the two were family at one point, connected by marriage.
