General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Frames Ava & Nina For Brennan’s Murder – Double-Cross Exposed?

Drew has already planted Brennan’s wallet in Nina’s car, but Ava may be his next target as his deadly cover-up grows even more dangerous.

General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Ava Jerome (Maura West) didn’t sign up for being made a patsy for Jack Brennan’s (Chris L. McKenna) murder!

Would dastardly Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) really throw her under the bus along with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who he’s already taken steps to frame?

Key Takeaways

  • Drew plants Brennan’s wallet in Nina’s car
  • Ava supplied the pill used on Brennan
  • Drew could be setting up both women
  • Brennan’s death remains a mystery
  • Ava may realize Drew has betrayed her

Drew Fished Out Jack’s Wallet And Put It In Ava’s Car

Drew fished out Jack’s wallet as he distracted Ava at the gravesite, and later put it in Nina’s car, which he also broke into-General Hospital fans will also remember he gave Ava a pill.

He told her it was a sleeping pill, to “keep Brennan busy” while he searched his Metro Court suite for the evidence he claimed to have on him. Of course, he never found it, because Jack had it in his black box which is in the WSB field office.

But one sleeping pill mixed in one bourbon usually would have just put a big guy like Brennan to sleep, or maybe a bit high at the most, depending on his tolerance.

It’s still a mystery how Brennan wound up dead in the pool-unless Drew somehow had that planned, as well-or the pill wasn’t a sleeping pill, but something much stronger!

Everyone In Port Charles Knows Nina And Ava Are Unlikely Friends

Everyone in Port Charles knows Nina and Ava are unlikely friends, and that Nina had a serious bone to pick with Brennan-very publicly, at that!

Drew told Ava before they could go up against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he needed an obstacle removed-and that obstacle was Brennan; not the evidence he had!

The thing about Nina and Ava’s friendship being “unlikely” is because of their history, which goes back years-Ava was Nina’s first husband, Silas Clay’s (Michael Easton) mistress.

They bonded after both Nina and Ava lost adult daughters to death-even though Nina didn’t know Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was her daughter until after her death.

There Was No Way Drew Would Make Himself Culpable For Brennan’s Murder

Even though Brennan’s disappearance hasn’t been classified as a murder yet, since his body hasn’t been found and no autopsy’s been done, more than likely it will be handled as a murder investigation.

Drew knows that, and there is no way that Drew would make himself culpable for Brennan’s murder-and even though he no longer has a sterling reputation, he’s not the one with a mobbed-up past!

So, because he knows about Ava and Nina’s friendship and Ava’s mobbed-up past, and he’s sneaky as they come, no one would be surprised if he set up Ava.

He may have even somehow snuck out quickly and pushed Brennan into the pool where he drowned, Brennan too impaired to fight him off.

It’s the perfect murder and revenge scheme for Drew, he loses (he thinks) Jack’s evidence, and gets revenge on Nina, and Ava’s just an useful idiot!
