General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Will Save Sonny, But Will He Keep Carly In The Process?
General Hospital spoilers indicate Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may not be tallying the days on the wall of his prison cell like he was when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was holding him captive, but life on the inside at Pentonville isn’t much better.
Most men may not take well to the idea of helping their girlfriend’s ex-husband — a career criminal — track down a dangerous enemy, but Drew is finding it helps him to pass the time. He just might come out of this the hero after all, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be the guy who gets the girl.
General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain Is Onto Cyrus Renault
In case it needs to be said, Drew never trusted Cyrus to begin with. But he’s a good guy. He’s the kind of guy who intervenes when someone is having a heart attack — even if that someone is the likes of Cyrus.
That may be more about saving his own soul than saving Cyrus’ life. Nonetheless, Cyrus has offered Drew some guidance during his time in Pentonville, but Drew has always felt that his advice must be laced with malintention. And he’d be right.
GH Spoilers – Leak the Warden Garten Comes Into Play
Now that we know Warden Garten (Diahnna Nicole Baxter) is wrapped up in Cyrus’ plot against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), we can be reasonably sure that she is no fan of Drew’s either.
Will she have to feign concern for the latest incident that left Drew fighting for his life — even though she likely had a hand in making it happen?
Just how many leads will Sonny and Drew have to chase down before any of them lead back to the head honcho of the entire prison?
Rumor has it Drew is suspicious that the info he’s been given on who Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) came to treat at Pentonville isn’t going to add up.
He just may be getting too close to figuring out where the corruption really lies and the warden could have taken matters into her own hands to silence him. Fortunately, Drew is going to survive this attack.
General Hospital Spoilers — The Chips Always Fall In Sonny Corinthos’s Favor
Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is plagued with guilt that harm continues to befall Drew all because he’s linked to her and she’s linked to Sonny. But forsaking Sonny isn’t an option or she would be putting her entire family on the mob chopping block.
Still, her loyalty may come into question soon if Drew’s overwhelming do-gooder status starts to get clouded with concern for his own well-being. He does have a child to get back to, after all.
At the same time, his altruistic nature may lead him to believe the path of least resistance is safest for all — and that would mean giving Carly up anyway.
Being in prison would certainly make it easy to ice Carly out of his life while claiming it’s all for her own good. Is it though?
