General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Hendrickson Back In Port Charles? Maurice Benard Likes The Idea

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint at some major plot twists on the horizon in the land of Port Charles. Could one of them be the return of Margaux Dawson, played by actress Elizabeth Hendrickson? Of course, Hendrickson is available right now. News hit recently that the Young and the Restless cast member who plays Chloe Fisher is currently off contract with the show.

So, could we see Elizabeth heading to GH, any time soon?

General Hospital Spoilers – Margaux Dawson’s History In Port Chuckles

Margaux Dawson entered the little town in May 2018 and made quite a splash. She became District Attorney and was dead set on bringing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down, due to the history she believed he had with her father. She was also involved in Drew Cain, then played by actor Billy Miller.

However, while Margaux did eventually become friends with Sonny, and sparks did fly with Drew, by the time June 2019 hit, Elizabeth’s run with the soap ended. Another interesting dynamic about the Dawson character is that she did not get along with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), so a return to the canvas could create a lot of drama. Especially with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) back in the picture and involved with Carly.

Whether Margaux navigated towards Drew or the mob boss, she’d have Ms. Spencer on her heels.

GH Spoilers – This Sounds Like A “Great Idea” To Maurice Benard

A fan recently brought up the idea that Elizabeth could reprise her General Hospital/Margaux role while on Twitter, tagging actor Maurice Benard. What were his thoughts? He replied to the tweet, saying, “great idea”.

If Sonny approves, could fans get GH’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini on board with this idea, too? Only time will tell.
