General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Despondent — Will Her Tricks Work On Liz?

General Hospital spoilers tease Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is grief-stricken. She’s falling into a depression. She doesn’t even want to get out of bed, much less stay on top of her prenatal vitamins or eating for two.

She’s hoping Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will visit soon and see the shape she’s in. Mother to mother, how could Elizabeth not demand better for Esme? If Elizabeth thinks this is as good as it gets with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) overseeing Esme’s care, then Esme might have a shot at getting Elizabeth to let her go, right?

General Hospital Spoilers — Esme Price is Not Well

The next time Elizabeth checks in on Esme, she’s not going to be feeling well. Since she’s past the time that women typically experience morning sickness in pregnancy, Elizabeth won’t assume that’s the cause. When Esme says she’s just feeling sluggish and so tired she’s unable to get out of bed, Elizabeth might look for signs of dehydration or other illness.

Can Esme pull out her bag of tricks and convince Elizabeth she’s suffering from something that requires medical attention greater than what a nurse can deliver off the books at home?

GH Spoilers – Tease The Numbers Don’t Lie

Rumor has it Esme is going to figure out how to influence Elizabeth’s medical instruments — something Elizabeth won’t see coming. Will Esme pretend to be fevered? Perhaps her blood pressure will be through the roof? Whatever it is, it will give Elizabeth enough concern that she warns Nikolas that Esme may need to see a doctor.

This kind of pressure is the last thing he will want of course, and he’s going to insist it must be something Elizabeth can take care of. She isn’t going to feel prepared for this kind of intervention; so, fortunately, she won’t have to as the truth comes to light and she finds out Esme was faking the whole illness.

General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Webber Stands Strong

Esme’s old tricks aren’t going to work on Elizabeth. She’s not interested in playing Esme’s games, and she will give her a stern warning about the risks of crying wolf. Maybe next time, Elizabeth won’t come to her aid, and it could actually be important. Will Esme heed Elizabeth’s warning? Probably not.

She’s so focused on getting her way and getting out of there that she can’t see the forest through the trees well enough to know hiding out in Wyndemere is actually what is best for both her and her baby right now.
