General Hospital Spoilers: Esme Did Ryan’s Bidding, But Falls in Love With Nikolas

General Hospital spoilers reveal Esme getting in a little over her head as she finds herself falling for the man her father told her to seduce.

General Hospital Spoilers – This Wasn’t Esme Prince’s Plan

Esme Prince seems to be a teenager with no empathy or real feelings besides anger. In fact, she feels so much anger that it can cause her to clench her fists so hard that she makes herself bleed. When she set out to seduce Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) on Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) orders, she just thought of it as another assignment to carry out, but things might not go as Esme had planned.

Sure, she got Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to apologize to her but he didn’t even mean that apology and is more onto her than she realizes, but then there’s also Ava Jerome and the fact that she is back at Wyndemere to make her life hell. And Esme is ready to do the same to Ava except there is one hitch.

GH Spoilers – Esme Prince Finds Herself With Feelings

It turns out Esme really enjoyed that practically-pornographic romp with an older man and has also enjoyed their talks. She felt that Nikolas really cares for her and what happens to her and she never felt anyone has ever cared before so this is brand-new.

“I think that she recognizes that Nikolas is going through a lot and she has also gone through a lot, even just the last couple of months. I think it does mean something to her that Nikolas is someone who actually understands that,” Avery Kristen Pohl said in the June 14 issue of Soap Opera Digest. “So, we will see that Esme herself is surprised by some of her feelings about the situation. I think it would make a lot of sense for someone like Esme to actually fall for Nikolas.”

Pohl also points out that Esme is not “soulless” and completely void of feelings. “I think she is pleased with herself, but I think there are a lot of mixed emotions because she does, in some way, care about Spencer, and she does care about her dad, in a bigger way.”

And her dad looks to be her biggest problem. We still do not know who her mom is, although Ryan did flash back to a time when he was terrorizing Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). We also don’t know how far Esme is willing to to make Ryan happy. So far, it seems pretty far, but we all know murder is Ryan’s favorite activity.
