General Hospital Spoilers: Esme’s Birth Mother, Is She Laura Collins’ Deputy Mayor, Eileen?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) birth mother could be someone right there in Port Charles-and it’s not Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner). Mayor Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) deputy mayor Eileen Ashby (Heather Mazur) is Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) plant, and may have been a WSB agent; could she have been DVX too?

General Hospital Spoilers – Victor Cassadine Mentioned By Esmé Prince

When Esmé went to Spring Ridge to visit her birth father Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) she asked him about her birth mother. She told him about Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) claims that he had Victor find her birth mother, although she didn’t give Ryan details other than there was a DNA match. Ryan smelled a scam but he did tell her some details, although he didn’t tell her a name, claiming that the woman wasn’t going by her real name.

He remarked that although Esmé’s mother and he were deeply involved, and she accepted him for who and what he was, she left him. He said he’d looked for her but allowed for Victor possibly having found her – if she were a double agent then the cover name would fit and a sudden exit.

GH Spoilers – Ryan Chamberlain Hasn’t Seen Eileen Ashby

Ryan and Eileen have never seen each other, since he has been in Spring Ridge and she wasn’t around at GH when he got medical checkups. Since she’s Laura’s deputy mayor she has seen Dr. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) but never let on she may have known of him. Obviously, if she came to know Victor through the WSB she knew Ryan through the DVX and she’d know about Ryan’s twin brother; there were many double agents. Even Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was a double agent for a while back in the day; the two rival spy agencies cross-infiltrated each other quite frequently. Eileen Ashby may even now not be going by her real name since she is a plant of Victor’s to keep an eye on Laura.

General Hospital Spoilers – Coincidence?

There is more than one way to look at this situation, if Eileen really is Esmé’s birth mother; could Ryan have lied about Eileen leaving him? He had to know she was pregnant or he wouldn’t know about Esmé, unless she found him in her search for her birth parents; did he kidnap her? There is a possibility that Eileen made her way to Victor and she’s in Port Charles looking for her child, getting herself planted in Laura’s office because of Kevin.

As strange as it seems, considering Esmé lived with Kevin and Laura along with Spencer for a while, Eileen and Esmé have never crossed paths either. Could it be because there will be a spectacular reveal later on and a mother daughter meeting?

GH Spoilers – Laura Collins Out Of Town

Victor put a hit on Laura, but thanks to Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) refusal to kill her he may have sent Eileen looking for Laura. With the mayoral office in the Port Charles Courthouse and Esmé making appearances there at Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial, Esmé and Eileen could have crossed. But, even if they did, they wouldn’t suspect they were mother and daughter if Ryan snatched Esmé as a baby; that reveal will likely not happen by chance. But Ryan will break out of Spring Ridge when the time is right; and Eileen will return to Port Charles. Esmé’s birth mother will be revealed, sooner or later, one way or another.
