General Hospital spoilers and updates reveals Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) never could have imagined she would become a kept woman. Alright, maybe she wished for that, but not exactly in this fashion. Being locked away and hidden from public view is only appealing right now because she’s dodging being cuffed by the PCPD for the sex tape she recorded and distributed of Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton). But this time out of the limelight may protect her more than she knows.

When Esme first surfaced back in Port Charles, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was far from happy to see her, but he wasn’t exactly furious either. However, reality soon sank in that Esme was indeed a fugitive from justice — in his living room. As he sprinted toward the phone, Esme gave him a few reasons why it might not be wise to run to the police and tattle about her whereabouts — namely that she is pregnant with his child.

Nikolas put two and two together and assumed Esme was the reason Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) had just been attacked. Was Esme actually the person behind The Hook? This would align with what Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) recently reported to police — that her attacker was a female. Esme insisted she had nothing to do with Oz’s death, even if it worked out in her favor. At the time, she had no idea how much was going to continue to go that way.

GH Spoilers – Indicate Nikolas Will Have A Renewed Faith In Esme

Like it or not, Nikolas is cohabitating with Esme, and his wife — Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is nowhere to be found on Spoon Island. Nikolas has never been known for staying single for long. He prefers the company of someone inside that lonely castle of his. Now, not only is Esme there, but as the months pass, Nikolas is going to find it hard to avoid growing somewhat attached to a child that is possibly his. Because he wants to make the best of this situation — despite being strong-armed into it — he’s going to start to have favorable feelings toward Esme he didn’t predict. Call it some weird form of Stockholm Syndrome, but he’s going to start to see what he thinks is a good side of Esme while they’re playing house.

General Hospital Spoilers — Things Don’t Look Good For Ava Jerome

As Nikolas cozies up to Esme and his potential child, Ava will be left out in the cold. It’s going to take some time for this storyline to develop, but it’ll start with Ava finally coming around to the idea of moving back into Wyndemere, only for Nikolas to push her away. Of course, at that time, Nikolas is trying to hide Esme from his wife. He doesn’t even want her to worry that Esme is still alive, much less carrying his child. That truth will eventually come out though, and Ava will probably gladly wash her hands of the whole situation — as much as Esme allows her to anyway. How do you see this plot developing?
