General Hospital Spoilers: Ethan’s Suspicious PCPD Break-In Hides A Dangerous Secret

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose an interesting question, why was Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) snooping around the PCPD cold cases disguised as a cop?

And more importantly, what was he looking for, how did he know where to look, and what exactly did he take?

Holly Sutton Has Worked With The WSB-Is Ethan Undercover?

Longtime General Hospital fans know that Ethan’s mother, Holly Sutton, (Emma Samms) in spite of all her scams and capers, has worked some jobs for the WSB undercover.

Considering she married Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) that really isn’t too surprising-she was undercover for the WSB when she was “dating” Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) in the overseas casino.

When Ethan first came to town-in spite of his taking a job with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to take Sidwell down-it was very apparent he’d been trying to protect Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone).

Could Ethan be doing an undercover job for the WSB that brought him into contact with Delilah, later having a one-night stand that apparently produced Baby Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton)?

Even though the case surrounding how Delilah was found on the boardwalk wasn’t classified a murder since she died from childbirth complications, there were still unanswered questions.

Ethan Agreed That Phoebe Should Know About Her Mother, If Not About Him

Even though Ethan insisted to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) on a closed adoption, with Phoebe (and anyone else) never knowing he is her birth father, he agreed she should know about her mother.

Considering the WSB currently is an at least partly corrupt organization, with Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) a double agent, Ethan can’t go through normal channels to request information.

So that might be why Ethan basically committed a crime by impersonating a policeman and stealing a certain envelope from the cold case file-likely concerning Delilah.

As to how he knew which packet of information to look for and where, he may have hacked the PCPD computer system to find the location-it seems to be a skill common to WSB agents!

After all, Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) has done the same thing, and maybe more than one time, for various reasons!

Ethan Aims To Solve The Mystery Surrounding Delilah’s Being Found On The Boardwalk

When Harrison and Brook Lynn Chase (Josh Swickard, Amanda Setton) found Delilah, they thought perhaps she’d been mugged-nothing super identifiable was found on her.

They found her purse but there was no identification and all there was were some brochures for some art galleries in New York City, and even that wasn’t found with Delilah.

There’s a possibility that Delilah’s old boss in New York, Apollo (Maxwell Caulfield) is involved in the undercover investigation as well-since he revealed nothing important to Alexis and Ava Jerome (Maura West).

But to find out what happened to Delilah when she got to Port Charles, even though she claimed to Brook Lynn and Chase she fainted from low blood sugar, Ethan starts with the PCPD evidence.

He knows that Cullum has a plant in the PCPD, just not sure who it might be, so that’s why he stole the evidence, because something happened he blamed himself for not protecting her from.
