General Hospital Spoilers: Extreme Fear, Dangerous Plans, Shocking Realizations, Terror Unleashed

General Hospital spoilers for the week of April 17 tease desperate fear and dangerous plans as all hands are on deck both on the Haunted Star and back home. As Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) plot an escape, their loved ones back in Port Charles plot a rescue!

General Hospital Spoilers: Victor Cassadine Underestimated

On board the Haunted Star, Spencer has realized how greatly he had underestimated Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) evil, telling Trina that man is more dangerous than he ever could have imagined.

Spencer continues, with a sense of urgency in his voice, saying if they don’t stop him before landfall it will be too late for all of them – Trina looks frightened. Victor’s plan is to unleash a pathogen on the world in order to reduce the population to what he considers a manageable number, and then continue controlling them.

Victor has kidnapped Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) to force her to make vaccines against the pathogen, which are only to be given to those whom Victor deems important. Victor’s megalomania, which appears to run in the Cassadines, has come into full force.

GH Spoilers: Light Bulb Moments And Recruiting Old Friends

Back home in Port Charles, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has tried to get Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) to let him join the search. As usual, she doesn’t want civilians involved – at least not Curtis the civilian, and he has a “light bulb moment” and contacts his old friend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Drew was going to join in with the takedown team to take down Victor anyway, and with Spencer, Liesl and Ace Cassadine-Prince (Joey and Jay Clay) kidnapped it’s even more important.

Drew and Curtis will team up once again, and Curtis tells Drew he’s not sure how long Trina can stay hidden, having stowed away on the Haunted Star. Meanwhile, Trina, on the yacht, again sneaks out of a room and hopes she can stay hidden.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ava Jerome And Portia Robinson Connect

In a room at GH, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) connect. Ava is Trina’s mentor and thinks of her as a daughter, and Portia, of course is Trina’s mother. Portia is frightened and crying as Ava approaches her, Ava noting that time is running out.

They know that Trina is in the hands of a madman, and there’s no guarantee that if discovered, she’ll survive, in spite of the best efforts of Spencer to protect her.

Meanwhile, back on the Haunted Star, Trina says they have to do something, and she and Spencer continue to plot against Victor.
