General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that as the land of Port Charles bids adieu to Sam McCall, fans of Kelly Monaco’s are more determined than ever to be heard, in hopes her firing will be reversed and she can return to the show.

From social media hashtags to a billboard in New York City’s Times Square, they are doing all they can to support their favorite soap actress.

With that being said, Sam’s death seems quite final. It’s not like her body was whisked away or not found. In fact, not only did her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), have time with her after she passed, but Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) did too, as well as her fiancé, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). So, is there a chance that Kelly or Sam could ever return?

Characters pass away all the time only to return. Even Jake Webber (Hudson West) was run over in a car accident and donated his kidney to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), but ended up coming back, very much alive, years later.

With that being said, it’s also not uncommon for characters to pass and have an actor/actress enter a new role. Both Roger Howarth and Michael Easton did this on GH multiple times.
But, then again, the show could go another route.

GH Spoilers – There Evil Twin Twist

After Sam passed away and Alexis said her goodbyes, she lamented over being forced to give her eldest daughter up, missing out on her childhood.

Is there a possibility that Sam had a twin? After all, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) thought she had given birth to only one baby girl when it turned out Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) wasn’t her only child, and that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was her twin!

What if Sam has/had an identical twin that was kept by the Cassadines and raised in Greece, without Alexis knowing? How shocked would Alexis be if said twin daughter showed up in PC in the new year?

While this new twin would play off as being nice, she could be evil with a terrible agenda! If she was raised by the Cassadines, she may be a far darker version of Sam, although as fans may know, Sam wasn’t exactly the nicest and most down-to-earth person when she first entered the little town, either.
