General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that February Sweeps is now an official reality. What is going to happen in Port Charles, NY? Tons of excitement is coming down the pike GH fans, and the show’s co-head writers, Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor spilled some of what fans can expect.

General Hospital spoilers – A Shocking Turn Of Events Takes Place

Fans have seen Stone Cold Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) spending some serious moments together, might we go so far as to say they are bonding? According to O’Connor, “I think that they do create sparks when they butt heads. They may even spark a fire if they look at each other in a new light.” Given that JaSam are no more, will Jason find comfort in The Britch?

The writers also hint that there will be a stunning, “twist nobody will see coming.” In what way? If they spilled the beans, we would see it coming!

But they did dish about the repercussions from Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) presumed death, and it concerns Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). BTW it is teased that Sonny, “may not want to find out more about the man he was before the accident,” which would be absolutely jaw dropping for fans who want the big, bad, mob boss back.

GH Spoilers – How Will Sonny Corinthos Come Back?

According to Van Etten, “Cyrus sees Sonny’s death as a major opportunity to strengthen his hold on Port Charles. But he’s quickly learning that it may not be as easy to simply step into that void as he thought it would be.”

Then there is the case of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). How will she react to her husband’s absence? Apparently she will try to squeeze herself into the “coffee” business, hint, hint, wink, wink!

Jason will be right along with her however and they make some epic choices that impact the Five Families as well as their own families.

There will be a major wrench thrown into Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) romance as Van Etten said, “something wicked,” is headed their way. Could it be wickedness in the form of a person? Who is more wicked than Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers)?

Finally, will there be a love triangle between Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher)? Maybe!
