General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Helps Anna Devane Solve Alex Mystery – Which Twin Is Peter’s Mom?

General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)General Hospital spoilers tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will remain at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) side and continue to support her as she seeks out the truth about her memories. One particularly difficult part of this process will be finding and speaking to her twin Alex Marick (also Finola Hughes).

This should help her in sorting out which memories they have in common and which ones are truly Anna’s, and which ones are truly Alex’s.

Of course, General Hospital viewers know that even though Dr. Arthur Cabot (Time Winters) said that memories only transferred one way to one twin, he also said nothing was transferred successfully in the first two studies. When Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) pulled up the notes in the original studies, GH viewers, and Anna and Finn found out it wasn’t true!

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna And Alex’s Dysfunctional Relationship

Longtime ABC soap fans who watched “All My Children” as well as “General Hospital” when Alex Marick was introduced and Anna moved to Pine Valley after being rescued and nursed to health by Alex, will recall that Alex had been trained as a spy, and brainwashed not only to think she was Anna, but to kill her! If GH writers stay true to the characters’ history on AMC, then it’s possible that both Anna and Alex have some of each other’s memories.

Anna and Alex seem to have had a very dysfunctional relationship with each other for the last couple of years or so, even though Alex seemed to care for Anna in their Pine Valley days. So it could be described as a love-hate relationship. Some of that could come from their past, when Alex impersonated Anna, and Anna had to live with the consequences of things that Alex did during those times.

The most recent time Alex impersonated her twin knowingly was in May 2017, while Anna was being held hostage in London. Alex revealed she had also impersonated Anna when she stole the Chimera Project from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), on orders from the DVX.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Thought He Fell For Anna

Impersonating Anna, Alex had seduced Valentin and had sex with him, presumably to give her access to the project and be able to steal it. She did make sure Valentin escaped before the WSB caught up to him, for having had the Chimera in the first place. It was later revealed that it was Alex impersonating Anna when Valentin fell in love with who he thought was Anna.

General Hospital viewers will see a similarity in process of Alex stealing the Chimera Project from Valentin, impersonating Anna and seducing him. Anna disguised herself as a prostitute and seduced Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) to get intel and got pregnant instead by Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

Even though Valentin followed her from spy school when she did that, is it possible Alex was impersonating Anna back then too? And is Anna remembering her own memories of that night, or Alex’s, which would mean Peter’s her nephew instead of her son?       I’m hoping he’s her son. But I wanted to say that the Chiamera project didn’t make sense to me in the beginning because that refers to a person with 2 sets of dna like they started out to be twins and didn’t split. Now it makes perfect sense.
