General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Plans To Confess, Liz Won’t Let Peter Win From Beyond The Grave

General Hospital: Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) General Hospital spoilers reveal that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is thinking about changing the plan. He wants to confess to killing Peter August (Wes Ramsey). He swears to not mention Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). However, Liz thinks it’s a terrible idea and refuses to allow Peter to continue destroying people’s lives from beyond the grave.

General Hospital Spoilers – Killing Peter August

GH spoilers reveal that Peter intended to poison Finn but Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) ended up ingesting it. He’s been a constant presence in the hospital ever since. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) would have to play Peter’s games to get Chase another dose of the antidote. When Peter had a rooftop confrontation, Finn pushed him down the stairs. There’s only so much one person can take.

Finn and Liz both confirmed Peter was dead. They kept the death to themselves and the body was put in a freezer down in a laboratory located in the basement. Interestingly enough, that lab was used for resurrection attempts.

GH Spoilers – Confession Strategy

Now that Finn knows Chase is going to live, he can finally breathe. However, his mind keeps going to the day he killed Peter. He decides that the best thing to do is to confess to the crime. He wants to control the narrative but he doesn’t want anyone else to face consequences for something he did on his own. He promises to keep Liz’s name out of the discussion if and when he goes to the police.

General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Baldwin’s Reasoning

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Liz doesn’t think that it’s a good idea for Finn to confess. Not only was he pushed to the limit but he was trying to save a dying Chase at the time. Peter was playing games with the poisoning antidote. Plus, Finn didn’t wake up that morning with the intention to commit murder at the same place where he works. Finn might have shoved Peter hard, but murder wasn’t on his mind. He was trying to make a point, as well as prevent him from escaping.

Co-head writer Dan O’Connor told Soap Opera Digest that Liz tries to convince Finn not to confess. She has already lost so many people and so much because of Peter. Others have also lost a great deal and she doesn’t want Peter to win from beyond the grave.

GH Spoilers – Unexpected Twist?

The long-running ABC soap is known for throwing curveballs and unexpected twists into storylines. We imagine that the writers have something planned for this, as well. There are definitely a lot of interesting theories out there! We will have to keep watching to find out how this story develops.
