General Hospital Spoilers: After Chase Almost Dies, Finn Realizes He Isn’t The Dad

General Hospital Spoilers: After Chase Almost Dies, Finn Realizes He Isn't The DadGeneral Hospital Spoilers tease that Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will continue to blame himself when his “son” Harrison Chase almost died from the antidote Finn created as a cure to the poison that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) had administered to Chase. Peter had actually planned for Finn to be the recipient of the poison, but due to a mix-up with the glasses they were drinking from, it ended up that Chase was the one who got sick. Peter had used the poison to keep Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) from acting against him.

Peter would supply a serum that would prolong Chase’s life and temporarily alleviate his symptoms until it wore off and another dose was needed. But Finn knows, even if no one else besides Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) does, that Finn threw Peter down a flight of stairs and after checking his vitals, Elizabeth confirmed he was dead. Now Finn was without anything to prolong Chase’s life so he has to find a cure fast. And he did, he just doesn’t have one piece of information that would have made it work.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cyrus Renault wanted revenge on Jackie Templeton

Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) wrote a scathing article about drug lord Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Port Charles latest mobster by interviewing Cyrus’ own mother. So when he found out that there was a question about the identity of Chase’s real father, Cyrus made sure to change the results to create the most trouble for the reporter. Jackie had slept with Finn the night before her wedding to Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison), so the possibility had always been there that Finn might actually be Chase’s father and not his half-brother. But Chase had lived his whole life believing Gregory was his dad. Cyrus’ plan made it look like it was Finn. Because of this, the serum Finn created as a cure almost killed Chase, instead of curing him.

GH Spoilers – The serum has the wrong father’s DNA in it!

The cure that Finn created required the DNA of both of Chase’s biological parents, who he believes to be himself and Jackie. But thanks to Cyrus’ tampering of the paternity test, Chase almost died because of this assumption. It shouldn’t take Finn long to realize what the problem is. He had always planned to have a second test run and it should be included with his bloodwork that’s currently being done. Realizing that Gregory has been Chase’s dad all along, Finn will rework the serum but this time using Jackie and Gregory’s DNA instead. After many tense moments, look for Chase to finally be cured!

General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. Hamilton Finn will have mixed feelings about not being Chase’s dad!

Although it made their family dynamic awkward and uncomfortable for everyone, Finn had just gotten used to thinking of Chase as his son. He will be slightly disappointed with the truth, but everything will go back to the way it should be. Finn is Chase’s half-brother and Gregory is his father. Finn thought he was saving his son’s life, not his brother’s. He even killed Peter because of it. Finn certainly wouldn’t have done anything less than her did but he may not have been driven to such a rage that he killed a man. The question remains, will Finn turn himself in?

GH Spoilers – What do you think?

Will Chase survive Finn’s first attempt at a cure? Will Finn realize it himself or will the bloodwork be the clue to recreating the cure? How will Finn react once things calm down and Chase is back to being his brother? And will Finn turn himself in for killing Peter? Faked paternity test results are always on trend in Port Charles, so stay turned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
