General Hospital Spoilers: Four Would-Be Couples Who Could Go Two Ways

General Hospital spoilers reveal the entire landscape of romance is about to be shaken up in Port Charles, but where the chips will fall is anybody’s guess. Several couples are on very shaky ground as we enter into the new year.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Falconeri) isn’t in a relationship right now, but it might surprise us to find out what makes him realize he wants to be!

Maxie Jones (Kristen Storms) is going to wake up soon enough — and it looks like she’ll have more surprises in store that go beyond her husband being back from the dead!

Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruenig) obviously has some intense storylines ahead, and I’m excited for that, because watching her struggle to find fulfillment in her children hasn’t been all that enthusing. But these few are just the tip of the iceberg of what lies ahead!

Dante Didn’t Ask for This

Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) death ripped through Dante worse than that gunshot from his own father years back. It has left his life unrecognizable at times, but rumor has it a rekindled romance might be the beacon of hope he sees moving forward.

A while back, we saw Dante and Lulu admit they loved one another but couldn’t be together right now. Has enough time passed for them to settle their differences, forgive, and move on — with each other?

It’s also possible that the growing chemistry between Lulu and Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) will trigger some jealousy in Dante that pushes him to act on his feelings for his ex-wife. Of course, Lulu isn’t property here.

She also gets to choose — Dante, or Nathan? Still, before you get too committed to Dante loving Lulu again, consider that he also could be interested in Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

GH Spoilers Say BLQ Won’t Chase After Chase

When Brook Lynn first found out about Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) side hustle — chasing down leads to prove Willow Tait Cain’s (Cameron Mathison), she was a bit peeved that he was spending so much time on her case.

Moreover, she was worried what his part-time investigation might look like to his employer. But ultimately, she chose to support and trust her husband. Now, that may come back to bite her. Being sidelined from work after Dante suspended him, we might see Dante rat Chase out to his wife once again.

Will this leave Brook Lynn siding with Dante because she’s already on Team Michael while Chase stands by Willow’s side? Is this going to be the straw that broke this marriage’s back?

Will a fracture happen because Brook Lynn is done with Chase, or might she be interested in an instant nuclear family with Dante? On the flipside, will Chase walk away because his heart still longs for Willow?

Maxie Wakes Up

At some point, Maxie is going to wake up. What lies ahead for her health remains unclear. She could need a heart transplant — and soon.

That’ll sound all too familiar to her and to Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), who both watched as Lulu endured the same issues with her liver, albeit unaware.

Will we lose someone important for the sake of Maxie’s new heart? Inevitably, Maxie will be forced to choose between Nathan and Spinelli.
