General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) has had a really awful time of it these last few months. It was a long road, but Liz and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) finally managed to get married. But as luck, Franco was in jail at the time, Franco hadn’t committed any crime, but he was helping Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Brianna Nicole Henry) smoke out serial killer Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). The plan was successful, but Franco was almost killed for efforts.
GH Spoilers – Even more trouble
But even after things calmed down, things still weren’t smooth sailing. Liz’s son, Cameron Webber (William Upton) was not happy with his mom’s new husband. It was difficult for Cameron to understand that Franco was a good man now. His dark past was long behind him thanks to therapy and the removal of a massive brain tumor that caused his murderous impulses. Cameron came to accept Franco and it seemed that once again, happier times would be ahead.
General Hospital Spoilers – Memory Mapping
But Cameron was kidnapped by Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Shiloh planned to use hard drive of Drew Cain’s memories and have them implanted in Cameron. But Franco arrived just in time to save Cameron by offering to take his place. Franco’s last words to Cameron were to tell his mother that he would be back. But for all intents and purposes, the Drew Cain persona has resided in Franco’s body ever since. And this version of Drew Cain was in love with Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) and wanted nothing to do with Liz and her kids.
GH Spoilers – A Nasty court battle
After a nasty court battle, “Drew” won the right to make his own decisions about his mental health. At first, it seemed as if Franco would leave town to start a new life as “Drew” along with Kim. But after a conversation with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Drew realized that Franco deserved to come back. He agreed to have the memory mapping reversed, even though it was risky. The procedure was to take place the day after Thanksgiving. And while it’s possible that Franco could come back, his Drew memories could become even stronger. There is also the possibility that Franco will be left in a permanent vegetative state.

Liz has always been hopeful that the reversal will work.
Taking into Franco’s last words to Cameron, Liz has always just assumed that Franco would make his way back to her. But now that the memory mapping reversal is actually happening, Liz will start to worry that the procedure will fail. And Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has a vested interest in the Drew Cain memories not becoming more intense so he may even try to Kill Franco before that can happen. But Peter will ultimately fail, and the memory mapping reversal will take place. But will it work?

I hope that Franco is restored by Christmas. I want Franco back with Liz and the boys as soon as possible. I also hope that they do not have Peter try to do anything to Franco. It has been illogical that Peter would want to hurt Drew, Andre, or do anything to Franco over this possible memory that Drew may or may not have of what happened with Jason and Drew when Peter wanted Drew to have the flash drive to restore his memories. I want things to work out for both Franco and Peter which means that Franco needs to be restored.
Yes this has going on way to long like the baby swap time to put a end to all this and bring Franco back home where he belong
I just want to say, Thank you for doing the story on Mike and Sonny, My dad just passed away September 1st from this, I have been following this story line closely, and I just want to say thank you for doing this, it helped me understand my dad’s condition, I can see the way the story line is going, and my heart breaks for them because I know what’s coming and I know the heartbreak Sonny is feeling. Again Thank you for doing such a great job with this story
I agree. I hope the writers do their job well and fix the fine mess they have written into the story line and paint a door for Franco, Peter and Valentin. They are characters with faults but who doesn’t have a few faults. Franco’s life had changed when he and Liz married, Peter’s life changed when he found Maxie, and Valentin’s life has changed because of his daughter. Everyone deserves a second-chance. No one is perfect.
First I would like to say who ever writes this should try using spell check and grammar. Some words do not make sense….
Put Liz and Franko back together and give the baby back where it belongs. GH has been dragging the stories out so long I am getting tired of watching..Maybe new writers are in order again..Give it up already.
Yes she seems her happier with him
HELL YES AND A LOT MORE BROUGHT BACK – MORGAN – DANTE –
Yes yes yes let’s get this over with. The baby swap secret would be a great gift for Michael. Sam out of jail. I could go on. But let’s get it started.
