General Hospital Spoilers: GH Cast Changes 2024: A Major Recast, Exits, And Returns

A lot of General Hospital changes have happened so far this year and more seem to be on the horizon. Who is exiting? Who can we expect to return? And what do fans think about this major recast we have seen so far? Could another recast be coming?

Esme Prince and Spencer Cassadine Exit

General Hospital spoilers reveal that several cast changes are coming for the show in 2024. Avery Kristen Pohl exited when Esme Prince fell overboard and was presumed dead. Spencer Cassadine (Alexander Chavez) fell overboard as well and there is news about him too.

William Lipton returned as Cameron Webber for a short time but is gone again as well. Lipton is now in Amazon’s The Runarounds.

General Hospital Spoilers – A Major Recast After Decades

Adam J. Harrington was recast as John “Jagger” Cates, a character who hasn’t been seen for at least 30 years. Jagger is trying to save Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from an assassin so he can legally put him in prison.

GH Spoilers – More New Additions And Returns

Eva LaRue has joined the cast as Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, mother of Alison “Blaze” Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). Natalia has not been enthusiastic about Blaze and Kristina Corinthos’ (Kate Mansi) relationship.

Jeff Leaf joined the cast in February and has made several appearances as O’Neal.

Lydia Look has returned as Selena Wu. Selena was with Sonny when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saved him from an attack at the warehouse.

General Hospital Spoilers – More Exits

Michael E. Knight has taken a leave of absence, and it is unknown if or when he will return. Of course, Michael played legal eagle Martin Gray, brother to Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Olivia Jerome has been killed off the show leading to Tonja Walker’s exit. Of course, Olivia was in Pentonville so it isn’t like Tonja was being Seen.

Tonja posted the following about the event. “Looks like I died,” she tweeted. “Oh what a rip! I wish we could have actually shot some great story but again, another missed opportunity… unless it’s not. I guess you never know. It wouldn’t be the first time.”

Who knows, she may resurface as many others have.

Steve Burton has once again returned as Jason Morgan. However, instead of being Sonny’s enforcer, Jason has been working with the FBI to keep Sonny from getting killed. It isn’t like Sonny is appreciating that but then again, someone is playing with Sonny’s medication again.

Cassandra James is back as Terry Randolph. Kinda makes one wonder how the hospital has been getting along without her. She was co-CEO with Britt Westbourne (ex=Kelly Thiebaud) who has been dead for months now. Cassandra commented on her return,

“First day on set since October. Almost half a year. Choosing gratitude because I know most actors have waited longer… Just imagine if the job you trained to do, that you’re good at and you love was consistently demonstrated to be ephemeral. That having a second job was not only normalized but systemically suggested. When you come home and stream our work on your TV, artists are wondering why we rarely feel valued enough to make our job a living.”

Bobbie’s has a new manager as Kody Kavitha joins the cast as Hunter. Meanwhile, Virginia Ma joins that cast as Madison, Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) new assistant.
