General Hospital Spoilers: GH Convention Event Postponed Due To Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The annual General Hospital Convention has been pushed back due to the concerns of the spreading of the coronavirus which has now circulated to may countries worldwide. The event was previously scheduled for May 29 – 31 but has now been rescheduled for November.

A note from the show stated, “As we continue to monitor and carefully follow the accepted safety protocols concerning the COVID-19 virus, we care deeply about supporting the health and welfare of our guests, attendants, and staff. Therefore, we are moving the date of the Official General Hospital Convention at the Marriott Burbank Hotel from May 29 -31, 2020 to NEW DATE: November 6 – 8, 2020!

We are currently working with each of the guests to move their appearance to the new date and we’ll keep you informed as each of the actors confirm.

We will be honoring all General Hospital Convention admission passes (keeping you same great seats) and a la carte autograph and photo op tickets for the new date.

They also request that if persons are unable to attend the upcoming event in November that they make contact with them so they can be refunded and get further assistance. “

The event put together by Creation Entertainment is returning for its fourth year. Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) will again serve as the host for the entire weekend. She will introduce guest panels and continue to make sure that everyone is having a great time.

Scheduled to attend this year are; Finola Hughes (Anna DeVane), Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), Michael Easton (Hamilton Finn), Bradford Anderson ( Damian Spinelli), Roger Howarth (Franco Baldwin), William deVry (Julian Jerome), Donnell Turner (Curtis Ashford), Cynthia Watros (Nina Reeves), James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine), Briana Henry (Jordan Ashford), Katelyn MacMullen (Willow Tait), Josh Swickard (Harrison Chase), Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio) and Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks).

The event kicks off with set tours led by the show’s producing legend M.K. Weir. This tour package is included for those who purchased the gold or silver weekend admission package. Fans will have the opportunity to walk the steps of the historic Prospect Studios where the show is filmed and be asked some trivia questions. At this event, fans will be allowed to take photos and get complimentary round-trip bus transportation from the hotel lobby.

It will be the usual fun time. It’s a long wait this year but we are sure it will be another event not to miss.
