General Hospital Spoilers: Giovanni Mazza On Contract – New Character Gio Palmieri Here To Stay!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) arrived in Port Charles on Wednesday, May 15th to play violin for Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) wedding to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Gio is Brook Lynn’s cousin from Bensonhurst and he’s a talented violinist as well.

Not only that, but he’s apparently a skilled mechanic as well. His first scenes were with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), which likely indicates Joss and Gio will be getting to know each other much better in coming days.

General Hospital Spoilers – Giovanni Mazza Is On contract With General Hospital

Mazza is the newest contract cast member, which means we will be seeing quite a bit of Gio in the coming weeks.

Besides being a violinist, Gio can be put to use as the town’s resident mechanic, filling the void left when Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was murdered by the Hook.

While it seems as though he may eventually have a romance with Josslyn, he could potentially be a love interest for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as well. There’s definitely a place for him on the canvas.

GH Spoilers – Adam Harrington Joined The Cast Earlier This Year!

There have been two other additions to the contract case so far this year. At the beginning of the year, Adam Harrington took over the role of FBI agent John “Jagger” Cates.

John has quite a history in Port Charles, most notably an antagonistic one with Sonny. John has come to town to investigate the murder of several prominent mob bosses in the country, and how they are related to the attempts on Sonny’s life.

Cates has also kind of started a flirtatious relationship with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). He also seems to have chemistry with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

General Hospital Spoilers – Steve Burton’s Triumphant Return To Port Charles

In March, Steve Burton reprised the role of Jason Morgan. As Jason’s story unfolds, viewers are learning the mysterious circumstances of his whereabouts the last two years. Jason and Carly’s friendship is back as if they had never been separated.

Unfortunately, the same can’t be said of Jason’s friendship with Sonny. In fact, Sonny now considers Jason his sworn enemy. There’s much more drama to come with Jason as he world with Cates to take down Pikeman for good.
