General Hospital Spoilers: Heather Learns About Esme And Does The Math — Is This Her Long Lost Child?

General Hospital spoilers tease when Heather Webber (Alley Mills) locked eyes with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) at Spring Ridge this week, she was taken back to a time in her life when she never felt such passion for another person. Nearly twenty years ago, Heather and Ryan had a brief love affair, but it ended before it really began.

Ryan was always on the run — and running a game. Heather had her own agenda. When she became pregnant, she knew she wasn’t fit to raise a child, just as she hadn’t been to raise Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth). She never told Ryan about the child, and when she gave birth to a baby girl, she gave her up for adoption. The truth about their relationship and what happened afterward is about to come to light, and Ryan is going to have to pretend he can’t react to it while his blood is boiling inside.

Thus far, Ryan and Esme haven’t talked in depth about her birth mother. Ryan has pretended he didn’t even know the woman’s name that gave birth to his child, and Esme has accepted that because she has no other recourse or way to hold him accountable. Is he telling the truth, or is Ryan completely baffled as to who gave birth to Esme?

However, seeing Heather again is going to awaken memories in Ryan he forgot he had, and he might start piecing together the possibility that Heather could be Esme’s mother — assuming he doesn’t already know. If he does know it’s her, he may find a way to clue her in on what is happening when he participates in his upcoming interviews with the PCPD to assist them in finding Esme.

Heather remembers everything of course. She knows she gave birth to a daughter all those years ago, and she knows Ryan was the father of that child. She might not be keen on revisiting that time in her life because it brings so much pain thinking about giving her child up. It is also possible that Ryan has no idea Heather ever had a baby, and in that case, she’s not going to be interested in looping him in now. Will Heather’s interest in finding Esme before Ryan can help her find a way out of Spring Ridge, or will she have to team up with Ryan to make it happen?

Who could produce a more evil child than this pair? As Ryan drops hints about Esme, he might give away clues that only Heather would understand, such as Esme’s age and birthday, where she was born, or who raised her. When Heather puts two and two together and realizes this Esme that Ryan is speaking of may be her daughter, she’s going to keep her lips sealed — until she can team up with Ryan to find their girl, that is.
