General Hospital Spoilers: Heather Webber: Crazed Psychopath, Or Just A Traumatized Mother?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) wasn’t lying when she told Laura Collins (Genie Francis) she hadn’t seen the last of her. We haven’t. Heather’s reign of terror over Port Charles will continue until her dying day, and that’s not coming anytime soon.

GH would never take both Heather and Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) from us at the same time, right? Heather has spent years torturing many of Port Chuck’s finest citizens, and somehow they’ve all bounced back without any lasting effects from her assaults.

Heather’s latest prerogative hasn’t been to harm anyone but Ryan though, and now Mac Scorpio (John J. York) took care of that for her. All she wanted was to reunite with her daughter, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), and share a mother-daughter relationship with her. Now that Esme has made it clear that isn’t going to happen, Heather is spiraling, and she’s not going to take it well when she sees Laura filling her shoes in Esme’s life.

Heather just doesn’t see herself the same way the rest of the world does. In her idyllic mind, she envisioned a future with her daughter and grandson. She saw herself being a peer to Laura — both of them grandmothers to the same baby. When Heather realized she wasn’t going to be expecting any visits from Esme or baby Ace, it tore her to pieces. She thought she planned everything perfectly; she didn’t expect her daughter to turn on her — only Ryan. What went wrong and why doesn’t Heather understand?

Heather has been placed back behind bars, but we’re not privy to where she is headed just yet when she leaves the PCPD holding cell. Her visit to the hospital where Esme made it a point to say her goodbyes may have left Heather devastated, but she will have plenty of time to mull over her next move wherever she’s headed. D’Archem seems like the best place for her, but she could end up in Pentonville with the likes of Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

General Hospital Spoilers — Will Esme Prince Ever Change Her Mind?

It’s likely Esme is going to change her mind about her mother someday, because that’s how things roll in Port Charles. Heather will never be irrelevant, but she is going to be out of the picture for a while as she works to find a new way to weasel back into Esme’s life, uninvited. That explains Heather rather well.
