General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Gregory Harrison’s character Gregory Chase has left the building, dying this week on the ABC sudser. Fans were left reaching for the tissues after the beloved character succumbed to ALS, hours after presiding at the nuptials of his son Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

General Hospital Spoilers – Gregory Harrison’s Character Gregory Chase Died

Harrison’s character appeared in his final episode this week. The character died in his sleep and debuted in 2020.

Daytime devotees will be able to see the actor on the Hallmark Channel. He’s back to the fan-favorite series, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.”

The original series that ran from 2013 through 2014 then was followed up by a series of films; Twelve films premiered between 2014 and 2021, and two new movies premiere in 2024 and 2025.

Harrison was in seven films, debuting on the series in 2015. His character Joe O’Toole was seen in the last installment, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: The Vows We Have Made” in 2021.

Fans can look forward to the installment titled “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters” this year and “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back” drops in 2025. The new “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” movies began filming in Vancouver in April.

General Hospital spoilers – OLTL Alum Returns To Hallmark

“Signed, Sealed, Delivered” is a mystery comedy series that revolves around postal workers who toil in the Dead Letter Office. These employees are tasked with figuring out how to deliver these errant letters.

Harrison will be missed on GH, he did a fantastic job of portraying the father of Chase and his brother Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).

The character’s death will drive powerful story forward as Finn is now off the wagon after having to deal with finding his father’s body.

Chase and his newlywed Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will also have to confront harsh reality as they cancelled their honeymoon to Italy and will now try to reconcile their grief with the joy they’ve found as newlyweds.
