General Hospital Spoilers: Possible LEAK-New Character Hudson's Last Name Jameson-Joss Getting A Half Brother?General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in a possible leak that the new character Hudson’s (Troy Lennon Appel) may be Jasper Jacks’ (most recently Ingo Rademacher) son.

The leaker posted in Daytime Dish that Hudson’s last name is Jameson-the same as Jax’s first wife, Miranda Jameson (Leslie Horan); could Joss have an older half-brother?

The ABC Soap Has A Habit Of Bringing In Previously Unknown Relatives

General Hospital has a habit of bringing in previously unknown relatives, usually related to legacy characters-Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) the latest.

Previously, Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson) was revealed to be Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) daughter, and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) and Dominique Baldwin’s (Shell Danielson) son.

Going back further, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was revealed to be Helena and Victor Cassadine’s (Constance Towers, Charles Shaughnessy) son.

So, it wouldn’t be super surprising if they decided to link Appel’s character-who’s on contract, beginning July 30-to a legacy character as well, even though Jax isn’t on.

The character Hudson is said to be a businessman, possibly with a shady side-you have to admit, that sounds like he’d fit with the Jacks family!

So, Who Was Miranda Jameson?

So, one question that especially newer viewers might have is, who was Miranda Jameson?

She was Jax’s first wife and first love, they’d married in the early 1990s, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) sought to interfere with Jax and Brenda Barrett’s (Vanessa Marcil) wedding.

Sonny pestered Mac Scorpio (John J. York) for information about Jax that could break up Brenda and Jax, and after traveling to Australia and then to the Phillipines, brought her to the wedding.

Miranda had been presumed dead in an explosion, but persuaded John Jacks (Peter Renaday) and Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché) to keep her survival a secret from Jax.

Miranda had extensive plastic surgery and also pins to repair her legs, and she didn’t want Jax to know because how bad she looked.

Was Miranda Keeping Something Else Secret Besides Her Survival?

Maybe her survival wasn’t all she kept secret-might she have been pregnant too?

If we assume that Hudson is close to his portrayer’s age, that fits-Appel was born in 1993, and Miranda and Jax married in the early 1990s, and she showed up at the wedding in 1996.

If she was, she can be assumed to have left her toddler in care of someone back home in the Philippines for the six months she was in Port Charles before returning.

With Josslyn the only Jacks in Port Charles, her grandmother and grandfather dead and her father not recast-she could use a paternal relative for sure.

Jerry is a criminal and they weren’t close, and besides, what if she had to arrest him?
