General Hospital Spoilers: Is ADA Turner Lying About Her Ploy To Ensnare Sonny?

General Hospital spoilers claim ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) unleashed a hidden scheme this week to lure Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out of his comfort zone and into the lion’s den.

Insisting her new friendship with Sonny is nothing more than a tool in her arsenal to position the guy right where she wants him, Turner seems pretty convincing. But not all of us are falling for it, are we?

There is more than friendship going on between Turner and Sonny, and their flirtatious entanglements have us thinking Turner is playing both sides of the fence, or she is already compromised by her own feelings for the mob boss and just decided to cover her behind.

Molly Got an Earful

ADA Turner didn’t hold back when meeting with Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) in the interrogation room at the PCPD. Molly wasn’t exactly asking for all the dirt that Turner spilled all over the place.

It’s hard to say whether that was Turner’s guilty conscience seeking validation from someone else in her profession, or if she thought she might feel better about herself if even someone somewhat tethered to Sonny green-lighted and okay-ed her bad behavior. Suffice it to say, now Molly has to contend with what to do with this information she didn’t want.

GH Spoilers Leak This Could Be a Trick

On the other hand, it’s possible that Turner might be testing Molly to see if she will break code and run back to her sister, Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), or worse — go right to Sonny.

Some might question what the point of that would be, but for all we know, Turner is deliberating over a promotion or something else with Molly in mind.

Will Mols burst that bubble for herself if that’s the case? Is she going to be comfortable going along with this plan to snag Sonny? Possibly, as long as the guy is actually guilty. She may think it’s on him if he’s foolish enough to trust the ADA.

At the same time, I still suspect Turner is just trying to paint her relationship with Sonny as nowhere near what it looks like — all because that’s exactly what it is.

Too Good to Be True?

Of course, I leave room for being wrong. It’s possible that Turner won’t be fooled by Sonny’s charms, and that she has been the wolf in sheep’s clothing all along.

Some fans certainly expected that, and many lamented that we were even being put through this storyline again, with some feeling like Sonny’s romantic interest in the women trying to put him away over the years is growing stale. I agree.

Could Turner come out punching, ruthless, and ready to toss Sonny behind bars? Absolutely, but something tells me she’s going to stop short of charging him to instead go after Sidwell. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see which way this pans out.
