Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake to the world’s rescue? It sounds like it could work with a little bit of the fictional sense added to it. Kimberly McCullough is one hardworking lady. She is currently working relentlessly behind the scenes as a director stepping away for a bit from being in front the camera. After all, she’s a household name for her many years of playing Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake on ABC’s General Hospital.
General Hospital Spoilers: Is Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake Coming To The Rescue?
McCullough just recently took some time to give her Twitter followers a little laughter. Putting a smile on our faces as we are trying to stay safe by quarantining and practicing social distancing amid the coronavirus. Both primetime dramas and daytime dramas have paused production to limit the spread of the virus and to keep their staff safe. McCullough may not be busy in front or behind the camera at the moment but we’re sure she’s occupied with spending time with her beloved son, Otis. Nonetheless, she took the time to give us a little reason smile with a Twitter post that read, “Love or hate Robin Scorpio, y’all know she’s working her butt off right now trying to develop a vaccine for Coronavirus.”

Of course, we’re sure if the show had decided to venture into telling a story related to the coronavirus, McCullough’s character would be front and center in developing a vaccine. Wait, how long have you been watching the ABC daytime drama? If you’ve been watching for many years, then you’d know that Robin has been involved in lab sessions developing cures. In fact, she was held captive by Jerry Jacks (Sebastien Roche) and had to create an illness for his cure or else her parents would’ve died. She was last seen on the show in September 2018 when she left Port Charles and headed back to Berkley.
As we mentioned above, McCullough is now venturing into a path of directing. Her latest set of work includes Roswell: New Mexico, Almost Family, The Bold Type, Carol’s Second Act, Fuller House, The Cool Kids, The Conners, One Day at a Time and more.
So, what do you think about this story? Do you think the ABC daytime drama should venture into telling a story about the coronavirus? And, would you like to see McCullough reprise her role as Robin coming up with a vaccine to help those who are affected the virus? Please share your comments below, we would love to hear from you.

I could see Robin coming back to GH to fight the Coronavirus or if they wanted to create one that was sort of like it would be alright too. It might be nice for Anna to have Robin back. I have wanted Robin and Peter to bond as sister and brother if they will somehow get him clear of this mess he is in. Maybe Robin could also bring Emma back. I am sure that Robert, Mac, Felicia, Maxie, Finn, Jason, and Sonny would be happy to see her too.
Yes bring Robin back.
I actually think if they were going to write that Finn would be the better one since he is an infectious disease specialist – but they do need another good neurologist and Robin and Emma should at least visit for holidays, and maybe Noah her baby boy!
