According to a report from Deadline, the actor, who is widely recognized for his role as Valentin Cassadine on the enduring ABC soap, has joined the cast for the indie thriller Boot Lake.

If Valentin Does Go On The Run Again, It Won’t Be Because Of This Movie

If Valentin does go on the run again, it won’t be because of this movie, which represents the first feature directorial effort of digital creator and filmmaker Christian Del Grosso. They have just completed production on this project, which means James Patrick Stuart is free to play Valentin.

Set in an enigmatic lake town in Tennessee, Boot Lake follows a young woman who returns to her childhood residence after finding a diary filled with hidden memories tied to her family’s history.

As she begins to unravel the truth surrounding her mother’s death and a newly found inheritance, she finds herself ensnared in an escalating web of manipulation, paranoia, and shifting allegiances.

The more she investigates, the more she discovers that those closest to her may not be who they appear to be.

The Thriller Boasts A Talented Ensemble Cast

This thriller boasts a talented ensemble cast, featuring Willow Shields from The Hunger Games series, Nikki Roumel from Ginny & Georgia, and Sebastian Amoruso from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Plus, Oscar and Golden Globe nominee Cathy Moriarty, D.B. Sweeney, Martin Kove, Alexa PenaVega, and James Patrick Stuart.

However, the name of the character that James Patrick Stuart plays is not listed. But the film adds another significant project to Stuart’s already remarkable career, which includes work in television, film, voice acting, and daytime television. Currently, the release date for Boot Lake has yet to be revealed.

What Might Be Ahead For Valentin In The Next Few Weeks?

James has already completed the  movie, so most likely he won’t be absent from General Hospital in the foreseeable future-but what might be ahead for Valentin in the next few weeks?

Currently, Valentin and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have been arguing over Valentin’s quest to go to France and save Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but that’s been interrupted.

When Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) barged in to Carly’s house in the Friday, May 22 episode, and Valentin found out Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was being blackmailed to work on a dangerous project, he opted to shut it down!

In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is still trapped underneath Wyndemere in the subbasement-and he may wind up finding and freeing her.

They might even then go together to rescue Anna in France, because it’s obvious the private clinic is run by Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) too!
