General Hospital Spoilers & Rumors: Is Hayden Coming Back?

General Hospital: Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig)General Hospital spoilers tease that in a leaked script, Hayden Barnes’ (Rebecca Budig) mother, Naomi Dreyfus (most recently Robin Riker) will return to Port Charles sometime this summer. Will Hayden return also, or is Naomi trying to take custody of Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) in future General Hospital episodes?

General Hospital Spoilers – The Script Indicates Naomi Dreyfus Drops In Unexpectedly

General Hospital viewers will recall that Hayden left Port Charles after dropping Violet off for an overnight with her father, Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), and his then-fiancée Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) at Anna’s house. Nikolas Cassadine, (Marcus Coloma) who had not revealed himself as alive yet to anyone but Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and accidentally to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) had overheard Hayden making a deal with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

This was when Valentin still believed he was a Cassadine and the deal was about finding Helena Cassadine’s (Constance Towers) portrait and why it was significant. General Hospital viewers will recall that Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) most recent codicil to his will was behind the portrait, which later caught on fire in Ava Cassadine’s (Maura West) art show after she found the codicil for Nikolas. Nikolas seemed to have made Hayden disappear, even though he told Hayden he would help her “hide” after staging an attack by a goon who he had rescued her.

Now, nearly two years later, Naomi (likely to be recast) drops in unexpectedly and wants to spend time with her granddaughter! Finn, of course, is pretty upset that Naomi didn’t contact him or try to visit Violet for over a year, but then she had spent some time in prison, as General Hospital viewers will recall. He questions Naomi about Hayden but claims she hasn’t heard anything from her.

GH Spoilers – Rumors Have Dr. Hamilton Finn Possibly Getting Romantically Involved With Elizabeth Baldwin

Some General Hospital rumors floating around have Finn possibly getting romantically involved with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) but most viewers would probably not be receptive to Liz moving on from the late Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) that quickly. However, she and Finn do have Violet in common, with him as her father and her as her aunt. Plus, they share the horrid secret about what really happened to Peter August (Wes Ramsey) but that wouldn’t really be conducive to romance development!

However, it has been a long time since Violet has seen her mother – and even though her aunt Liz is a connection, and she has the extended family on Finn’s side, it might not be a bad idea for her to get to know her maternal grandmother. However, Finn will likely be suspicious about Naomi’s motives – the script leak also indicates that Naomi will make some trouble for Finn. However, if Finn and Liz were to become involved, the trouble could be related to their relationship.

Trouble between Liz and Naomi would be almost inevitable since she was her father’s mistress! But the most trouble for Finn would be if Naomi is trying to get custody of Violet! Conceivably, since Hayden has been missing a long time and Nikolas remarried without his divorce from Hayden being clear-cut in General Hospital episodes, Hayden could be dead. Naomi may have decided to have Hayden declared dead and go for custody of Violet!
