General Hospital spoilers say fans have been wondering ever since Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) first came to town whether he was truly trustworthy, a plant from an enemy, or even someone’s long-lost son.
Enter, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). It’s been proposed time and time again that Dex’s family is a hush topic because he’s actually got ties to the town he doesn’t want anyone to know about.
Could it be that he agreed to Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) takedown of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) two years ago because he wanted to infiltrate the organization that killed his father from the inside out? If so, what is that going to mean for Dex when Jason comes home — alive?
General Hospital Spoilers — In the Beginning…
When Dex first came to Port Charles, he was a man for hire. Michael found him through whatever channels powerful men like Michael find no-name dudes to do their bidding.
Dex was eager to help him dismantle the mob organization in Port Chuck and put Sonny away forever.
Along the way, both Michael and Dex grew softer toward Sonny, and they called the whole thing off. Dex came to like the work he was doing — and the money Sonny was giving him — and he stayed on as his number one enforcer.
GH Spoilers – Leak Dex Heller Crosses The Line
More recently, Sonny has been keen on leaning on Dex and giving him more responsibility in the organization. It’s clear that he’s setting him up to be the next Stone Cold.
He wants to see what Dex is made of and if he has what it takes to take every order — and any order — without question, and without screwing it up.
Dex proved to him that he was willing to go all the way with killing Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) recently, though that didn’t have to come to fruition in the end.
But the fact that he was ready to do it spoke volumes to the don. He’s been here before — nearly thirty years ago with Jason — and he’s ready to groom Dex to take his place in the mob.
General Hospital Spoilers — Jason Morgan vs Dex Heller
We still don’t know why Jason has been gone for the last two years if he never really died. Soon, we’ll find out the truth about that and a whole lot more. Could it be learning about his son that leads Jason back to Port Charles?
If so, will he be there to get to know Dex, or is he going to ride to Sonny’s rescue after growing concerned that Dex is out for blood? Jason could come home with every intention of replacing Dex in the organization, too — just to keep his boy out of it.

I’d love for Jason to be Dex’s father. Why not? It’s as good a storyline and any, and I can see many different directions they can take. Either way, I’m just pleased that SB is back and Jason is home where he belongs……
Some interesting “what if’s” there, but if any of it’s true, Dex has lied to Joss! Didn’t he tell her his dad beat him and allowed his brothers to do the same? That would be totally unlike Jason! Plus, Jason was in PC during what would have been Dex’s growing-up years! It seems quite a stretch now for the writers to make him Jason’s son. There’s a bit of resemblance though and it would have been a good story.

The father Dex could be talking about could be a Step-Dad, Foster Dad!! Also Dex could have been adopted… Which personally I think it’s a stupid Storyline, enough with everyone looking for their Mom or Dad!!
