General Hospital Spoilers: Jackson Montgomery Is Headed To Port Charles — To Represent Who?

General Hospital spoilers reveal All My Children’s Walt Willey is headed to Port Charles to reprise his retired role as Jackson Montgomery, Attorney at Law. AMC fans have been eagerly waiting for 12 years to learn what happened to Jackson. This highly anticipated crossover has soap opera enthusiasts buzzing with excitement. First introduced in 1987, Jackson was a prominent character on the soap until the show’s end in 2011. Willey did not appear on the Prospect Park reprisal of the show, which ran until 2013.

A successful attorney and district attorney, Jackson was involved in numerous high-profile storylines and relationships throughout the years. But who is he coming to Port Charles to rescue all these years later, and what has he been up to for the last decade or better?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Family Reunion

Willey’s crossover to GH will include a reunion with Finola Hughes, who portrayed Anna Devane on AMC from 2001 to 2003. Fans of both shows are anticipating exciting interactions between the two characters, as they shared memorable scenes during their time together on the previous show.

Aside from Finola Hughes, several other AMC alumni have made their way to Port Charles, such as Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio), Michael E. Knight (Martin ‘Marty’ Grey), Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain), Rebecca Budig (Hayden Barnes), and James Patrick Stuart (Valentin Cassadine).

Although these actors have portrayed new characters on the show, their presence adds to the excitement of Willey’s crossover.

GH Spoilers – Hint Anna Devane Could Need His Help

It’s most likely that Jackson is headed to Port Chuck to help out his old friend, Anna. While the WSB may have set her free last week, she’s by no means in the clear and she knows it. Her heartfelt conversation with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) lets us know just how lost, lonely, betrayed, and scared Anna must feel.

The truth is out about her past and she can’t run from it. Everyone now knows she was a double agent, and she did some terrible things she can’t take back. Should Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) reign of terror not have completed with Anna’s brief arrest, then there is more in store and she’s going to need someone on her side who knew her back when and knows their way around a courtroom.

General Hospital Spoilers — Some Port Chuck Natives Also Need Legal Representation

It’s clear that Drew has already sought representation with Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston), but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) could find herself in need of representation soon, too.

If Sonny ends up entangled in her SEC mess as the Justice Department continues to target the people he loves as a means of getting to him, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) would have to focus her efforts on him — leaving Carly out in the hold.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) might also need legal representation in his case going up against the WSB. We know Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) must be exiting soon because Kin Shriner confirmed to Soap Opera Digest that his contract was not renewed. Does this mean he’ll be exiting stage left and leaving Cody in the lurch?

It remains to be seen who Jackson is making this trip for, but we’re thrilled that he is and can’t wait to see him. What’s your favorite Jackson scene from the past? Share with us, and keep checking back for more GH news and spoilers.
