General Hospital Spoilers: Why Isn’t Jordan Fighting For Curtis

General Hospital Spoilers tease Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) isn’t going to like it if he learns what Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has been up to — hooking up with someone else. Moreover, sliding between the sheets with his brother-in-law wasn’t supposed to be on the table. When he realizes Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) is actually interested in Jordan, he’s going to have a hard time keeping his feelings to himself. But the bigger problem will be learning that Jordan isn’t opposed to seeing someone else. She may have told Curtis she was going to move on, but he didn’t expect her to do such so quickly, or so literally. As Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) continues to fight for Curtis’ affections, it’ll only make him feel smothered, suffocated, and longing for Jordan to give him the same kind of attention.

Clearly, Jordan wasn’t playing around when she told Curtis she was going to get on with her life. Maybe she didn’t consider the implications of her words at that time, and she certainly couldn’t have known that she would meet a new man just hours later. Jordan has definitely moved on — and in a very big way. Rumors are already swirling that the police commissioner could end up pregnant with Zeke’s baby. But it may not need to get that serious. They may not need any strings tying them together. The damage will be done when Curtis learns that Jordan made love to someone else. He thought he still had that hold on her.

It would be one thing if Jordan hooked up with a man that Curtis never had to know about. But having her budding relationship with Zeke thrown in his face is going to turn Curtis’ stomach. How is he supposed to ignore his feelings for Jordan when it’s breaking his heart to watch her fall for another guy? How will he ever conceal those feelings from Portia? The truth is, he won’t be able to. As Portia starts to realize how twisted up inside her own husband is over his ex-wife, she might wonder where these feelings came from.

After all, she was oblivious to the fact that Curtis was entertaining a relationship with anyone but her all of this time. The three months he spent away from home after their wedding night were supposed to be a reprieve for him to collect his thoughts and figure out what he wanted with their marriage. Instead, he was mulling over what he wanted with the other marriage he left behind. Should Portia consider this a success, since he came home — and chose her? As she grows suspicious, Curtis will have to up his game if he doesn’t want his wife to unearth his deepest secret — that he still loves his ex.

General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Ashford Vies For Jordan Robinson’s Attention as Portia Fawns Over Him

What will make this even more complicated is how much Portia loves her husband. She is devoted to this marriage, and Curtis will feel increasingly guilty about how little he’s really invested in it. He thought he could accept that Jordan was going to part ways with him, and that he would have a real shot at making his marriage with Portia work. He does love the woman. He was planning to embrace this and make the best of it.

But seeing Jordan with another man and having to pretend he’s happy for them is going to cripple Curtis inside. As Portia continues to dote on him and tend to his every need — praying that he falls back in love with her the way he was before — Curtis will be busy falling for a woman he can no longer have.
