General Hospital Spoilers: Jagger Is ‘Stone’ — But ‘Stone Cold’ Will Come To Sonny’s Rescue

General Hospital spoilers reveal GH fans everywhere are hooked on a feeling that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is the bad guy who is trying to take down every arm of the mob octopus that he can. But there’s a chance we’re wrong, and the threat against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) may already be in Port Charles — simmering away.

Could it be that the killer who took Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) out and hopes to do the same to Sonny is actually John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington)? If so, how do we fit the puzzle piece of Jason back into the picture? Is he suddenly coming home to save the day?

General Hospital Spoilers — Jagger Cates Wants Sonny Corinthos Out

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may start to put things together soon if Jagger can’t hold his tongue. When he barged into her office and let her know she was going to help him remove Sonny from his life — permanently, she was quick to diffuse the situation.

Backpedaling, Jagger apologized and told Anna she was right, and that he respected her. But he doesn’t respect her opinion of Sonny at all.

Now he knows he can’t rely on her to help him by any legal means to extract Sonny from Port Charles. That doesn’t mean he’ll be laying down his intentions to make that happen though.

GH Spoilers – Hint Stone Cold Stayed Gone

Meanwhile, Jason is coming back to town, and we know there must be a stunning explanation for why he’s been gone for more than two years now. It’s possible that Jason has been held against his will.

It’s also possible that he decided to stay out of the picture when he nearly lost his life in the tunnels in Greece after a shoot-out with Peter August (Wes Ramsey).

Life in Port Charles was already fading to black while he was on the run with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was trying to move on with her life, not coupled with him.

Jason might have thought he could take a time-out from his life in the mob, but knowing Sonny is in danger is only going to drive him to head back home.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jason Morgan Is Anything But Selfish

If Jagger’s return to Port Charles was all about settling the score with Sonny after all these years, he’s not keeping a very good lid on his agenda.

Using the FBI investigation to get closer to Sonny and plant himself in town was the tip of the iceberg.

Jagger can’t get over the death of his brother — Michael ‘Stone’ Cates (Michael Sutton), or his ex-wife — Karen Wexler (Marie Wilson).

Has Jason been waiting in the wings like Sonny’s guardian angel, or is the pull to keep him safe just too strong to stay away any longer?
