General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Morgan Surprises Ned

General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will surprise Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!

General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan May Surprise Ned Quartermaine In A Very Unexpected Way

Thanksgiving is coming up, and although the General Hospital Thanksgiving episode may not be shown on Thanksgiving this year because of pre-emptions pushing the show out at least two days, spoilers say there still will be a Thanksgiving episode shown. It is expected to be a new Thanksgiving episode rather than a repeat this year, and it is possible that Jason may surprise Ned, and Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) as well in a very unexpected way!

Jason has not spent Thanksgiving with the Quartermaines since before he was thrown out of a car trying to stop his brother AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan most recently but Billy Warlock in that episode) from driving drunk. Long-time General Hospital viewers will recall Ned being in the Quartermaine mansion and seeing the whole thing and rushing to the scene to render aid to Jason, whose head landed on a boulder in the yard when AJ’s car hit a tree.

Of course, as is the usual occurrence when a drunk driving accident occurs, the impaired person suffers no injuries! Jason’s traumatic brain injury changed his personality and he went to work for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who was much more involved in the mob at that time, and Jason became his enforcer, also known as a hitman. Jason rejected his family with the exception of his grandmother, Lila Quartermaine (Anna Lee) whose maiden name was Morgan. Jason took Morgan as his last name.

GH Spoilers – Samantha McCall Is In Prison, And Danny Morgan Chose To Live At The Quartermaines’

As General Hospital viewers will recall, Jason talked to his and Sam’s son Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) and asked him to decide where he and his little sister Emily “Scout” Cain (Ella Ramacieri) should live, with Jason, or at the Quartermaine Mansion where they had been staying the majority of the time anyway.

This was when Jason had to break the news to Danny about his mother being in prison for two years, although of course appeals and parole will be worked on in the meantime. Danny chose to stay at the Quartermaine’s. Scout, of course, is actually Jason’s niece, since Drew Cain (Billy Miller) was her father and now is presumed dead, but both Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and made a good point that Scout is so young she may not remember her dad, and Jason will be the only father she will ever know.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Would Be Very Surprised To See Jason Morgan Show Up At Thanksgiving

Chances are, the Thanksgiving meal once again will include ruined turkey and ordered pizza, but Ned would be very surprised indeed to see Jason show up! He usually spends his Thanksgiving with the Corinthoses, but considering that they are going through some struggles with Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) decline and some other issues affecting their family, he will take to heart that he is the only dad that Scout will ever likely know and that for the foreseeable future, he is Danny’s only parent that can spend time with him.

Jason may surprise Ned by showing up at the Quartermaine Thanksgiving this year! Thanksgiving may be slightly more peaceful with fewer Quartermaines to squabble, but then there’s Brook Lynn Ashton (Amanda Setton) home to stir up trouble too, so you never know!
