Maurice Bernard isn't going anywhere, come on! He is a GH mainstay and how many viewers would it lose if they killed Sonny off? More likely he's taking a well deserved break before re-emerging with "amnesia".
I think he will have issues as he will not remember to take his lithium!

I think GH needs new writers. They are trying to take GH off the air by killing off all the major characters during Christmas and during the pandemic that is getting worse. Bring back Sonny asap. Even a week or two is too long. Why didn't you let Julian get amnesia and come back in 6 months? Need new story plots. Get rid of Cyrus ASAP.
I really hate the way the writers have written this. Sonny is the only one except for Jason that can control Port Charles. As for the newfound family members, that really stinks.
