General Hospital Spoilers: Jax Returns To Rescue Heartbroken Joss

General Hospital spoilers tease that Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is on the first flight from Australia when he hears that his teenage daughter with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is grieving the loss of her first boyfriend, and indeed, her soulmate, Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Lake Stitt).

Joss was the one who found Oscar had died in his sleep, while she had fallen asleep earlier when reading him the book “The Wind in the Willows”, and when she woke up she found him unresponsive. General Hospital viewers could see that he had already become pale and the blood appeared to have drained from his face.

Before his death, Oscar was blessed to have a dream of the near future, where Carly’s baby was born healthy, his friends and family did okay without him, and his mother, Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) was flashing an engagement ring, and Josslyn was in a cap and gown walking with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) who was also in a cap and gown. Oscar also dreamed that his cancer went into remission and disappeared; alas, that was not to be. He saw his great-grandparents who he knew but couldn’t name them or say they’d met, ready to escort him to the afterlife, and rose out of his body to go with them, kissing Joss on the way to say goodbye.

Joss woke up and apparently felt the kiss as Oscar was transitioning with his grandparents, and Kim felt his transition too, where she sat on the bottom of the stairs in the Quartermaine mansion with Oscar’s father, Drew Cain (Billy Miller).

They came into the room where they quickly realized what had happened, and Joss went downstairs just as Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) came in the house from the mausoleum, and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) came out of a room shortly after and they knew by the look on Joss’s face what had happened. Monica went upstairs while Ned tried to comfort a distraught Josslyn. Carly arrived shortly afterwards after Joss called her, and had notified a few others on the way.
