General Hospital Spoilers: Jeff And Carolyn Lied, Reiko Is Alive

General Hospital spoilers tease, when Jeff Webber (William R. Moses) showed up in Port Charles looking for Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) decked him. Hoping to send a message that no one is interested in what Jeff had to say, Finn watched on as Elizabeth made that crystal clear to her father.

Still, Jeff pressed on that there was so much more to say that they didn’t get the chance to discuss in California. Elizabeth doesn’t feel like she’s missing the pieces to a puzzle anymore, but she also still only knows what her parents wanted her to know. What’s lurking beneath the surface still, and has Jeff chased Liz down to tell her the rest of the story?

General Hospital Spoilers — Reiko Webber Never Died

Jeff is going to need some participation from Elizabeth before he will open up any further than he already has. He misses his daughter, but he doesn’t want to throw his life away by confessing something that could land him legal trouble and would most definitely cost him his daughter, and cost his daughter her boyfriend. It’s possible Jeff and Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) were lying about Reiko Finn’s (Mele Ihara) death.

We know the fall down the staircase didn’t kill Reiko. They told Elizabeth that Reiko needed a blood transfusion, and the transfusion was what infected her with Blackwood’s Disease, which killed her. However, what if Reiko wasn’t infected but rather Jeff and Carolyn helped her make up the disease and lab results so that she could escape her marriage to Finn? It’s possible, but why would she want to do that?

If Reiko was pregnant when she fell down those stairs, the first thing Jeff would have wanted to check on was his child. Realizing the baby was still okay, he and Reiko could have plotted to use the opportunity her injury gave them as a means to stage her death. This would allow her to leave her marriage to Finn without him ever having to know she cheated and had a child with someone else — a move that could have tarnished his reputation as well as hers, Jeff’s, and Carolyn’s. Is Reiko still out there somewhere with a grown child — Elizabeth’s half-sibling? Is it certain that said child is Jeff’s and not Finn’s?

Elizabeth’s parents insisted they left her behind at 15 years old because they didn’t want her to remember what she had done to Reiko or find out she had died as an eventual result of it. However, the truth may be that Reiko never died and they didn’t want Elizabeth to find out what her father had done to their family.

Today, Elizabeth has shockingly ended up in a relationship with Finn, and the last thing Jeff and Carolyn need is Finn finding out Reiko is still alive and well, or that he potentially has a grown son or daughter.
