General Hospital Spoilers: Jeff Kober Hints Major Changes Coming To General Hospital

“General Hospital” recently introduced a new face in town in the character of Cyrus Renault. The actor playing the role as the nefarious criminal, Jeff Kober, warned viewers that “Port Charles is a hotbed of Change.”

The sudser recently kicked off a new storyline involving a mob war, which is expected to keep fans at the edge of their seats.

In an interview with Digital Journal, the actor said his character aims to take out Port Charles’ current mob boss Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

“That character is interesting,” he said.

“Things are happening. Port Charles is a hotbed of change. Things are going to change,” he added.

Nobody knows what these changes are but as tensions heat up, it’s possible that a change in mob power structure may take place and Cyrus could end up taking the reins.

Kober Stars In Upcoming Thriller

For those who wish to see a different side to Kober, the actor has an upcoming movie called “Dead Sound.” The new thriller is scheduled to be released on March 3 on DVD and Digital under Uncork’d Entertainment. The film is directed by Tony Glazer and penned by Jon Adler and Ted Weinman.

Kober stars as Sone on the film, which is based on true events. The actor praised Tony Glazer and Summer Crockett, who’s one of his producers. He said they were fun and delightful to work with.

“He is one of those directors that makes things simple, and he lets you trust yourself and be alive. When you get to act like that, you allow yourself to really be present. There is nothing more fun than that. It was fantastic,” the actor said about Glazer.

“This movie was very topical. People without money are suffering in this country, and nobody gives a damn. This film really spoke to a lot of people,” he teased.

Advice For Aspiring Actors, Dream Collaboration Partner

Kober had some words of wisdom for young and aspiring actors. He said they should do it because they love the craft and not because they want to be famous, rich, or recognized.

When asked who he wants to work with if given a chance, the actor said he’d like it to be Academy Award winner Brad Pitt.

“Brad Pitt is a fantastic actor. That would be fun. I would love to work with him,” he admitted,” he said.
