General Hospital Spoilers: Jerry Jacks Behind Sonny’s Penthouse Bombing?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché) could very well be behind Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) penthouse bombing.

Now that Sebastian’s character Father Renaud has been killed off “1923”, he may have time to reprise his role on GH.

There Are Several Reasons To Suspect Jerry Jacks

There are several reasons to suspect Jerry Jacks is the one behind the scenes who hired Soliski (Mike Wolfe) to plant the bomb in Sonny’s penthouse. For one thing, Jerry has always been a mercenary, and able to get his hands on weapons and even bioweapons.

Jerry was the one who tainted the Port Charles water with a deadly toxin in 2012, that Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) referred to in March 31’s  episode.

Plus, in 1998  he planted a bomb in a warehouse that caused a fire, nearly killing Sonny, his brother, Jax Jacks (Ingo Rademacher)  and Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).  Jerry has committed arson several times.

The Most Striking Reason To Suspect Jerry Jacks As The Penthouse Bomber

The most striking reason to suspect Jerry may be behind the recent events is what Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was poisoned with. Polonium was used to spike the champagne meant for Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna).

This same lethal substance was previously used against Luke Spencer  (Anthony Geary) in 2013, which is how Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) daughter, Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough), managed to save Carly.

After Jerry’s earlier attack on Luke, Robin developed an antidote for polonium poisoning, even though Jerry himself was also afflicted at that time-however, Jerry resurfaced later.

It raises the possibility that Jack’s choice of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)  as a WSB recruit was not coincidental; there may be a deeper connection since Jerry is Joss’s uncle.

Jerry Escaped From Prison Around 2016 And Hasn’t Been Seen Since

Coincidentally-or perhaps not-Jerry escaped from Steinmauer Prison around 2016 and hasn’t been seen since. That’s the same prison Jack was escorting Valentin to, supposedly escape-proof but obviously isn’t, if Jerry escaped from it.

 Now there is a possibility that Jack and Jerry were working together behind the scenes and Valentin has been just a patsy, even though he did try to poison Jack.

When Valentin  told Sonny about Soliski he said he was looking for the stolen bombs from the WSB facility, when Brennan was in Pentonville and he was working Pikeman.

But one thing is certain-Jerry is on the loose, and anything’s possible-and what happened to Sonny’s penthouse is certainly his MO, even if he did hire Soliski!
