General Hospital Spoilers: Joss’ Horrifying Discovery, Ryan’s Shocking Visitor, The Hook Ready To Strike Again

General Hospital spoilers and updates for the week of October 3-6 tease the investigation into the Port Charles Hook continues, Friday October 7 being pre-empted for major league baseball. Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) remains on life support as her friends and family worry, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) encounters danger and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) continues to struggle.

General Hospital Spoilers: Worries And Reassurances

At the hospital, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) asks Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) what’s going on, and if Diane is okay as Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) looks on. Diane is seen in her room in the GH intensive care unit with oxygen tubes and life support attached, and Finn will reassure Alexis Diane should live. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) joins her in front of the window to Diane’s room, as Alexis continues to worry.

The longer Diane remains unconscious the less chance there is that she will wake up, and the less chance her brain will recover. If Diane awakens and is able to talk and think coherently, then she will survive, and with Finn administering the anti-venom early, she should.

GH Spoilers: Hopeful For Change

Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is hopeful for positive change as he talks to his father, Sonny. Dante tells Sonny if Diane can identify her attacker, the whole direction of the investigation into the Port Charles Hook attacks will change. Dante continues, saying if identification can be made or at least more of a description of the suspect, maybe then they finally can get ahead of this psycho. However, on Thursday the Port Charles Hook will strike again and another body will be found next week on Monday.

General Hospital Spoilers: Josslyn Jacks In Danger

Elsewhere, Josslyn encounters danger as she makes a shocking discovery; she’s shown facing a figure in black holding up a large knife. Then the promo goes to a shot of The Port Charles Hook in an alley, ready to attack as various persons of interest are considered in the investigation. Later, she and her older brother Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will confront Sonny, possibly about the still missing Dex Heller, who both of them have been asking about.

In the meantime, the Port Charles Police consider several persons of interest in the investigation, including Victor Cassadine, (Charles Shaughnessy) who remains very smug.

GH Spoilers: Ava Cassadine Visits Ryan Chamberlain

The Hook’s first victim, Ava Cassadine (Maura West) isn’t putting all her eggs in one basket as she considers who her attacker might have been. Now released from the hospital and recovering, she pays a visit to Spring Ridge and an angry Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Ava knows that Ryan could be faking his locked-in syndrome and doesn’t put anything past him; although she was his latest obsession, his “love” has turned to hate before. Ryan won’t believe his eyes when he sees his latest visitor.

General Hospital Spoilers: Frozen

Dex is still tied to a rack in the freezer room at Pozzulo’s, the Italian restaurant owned by Sonny Corinthos. He’s probably close to being frozen by now and he does look like he’s shivering a bit, especially after having had water thrown on him. Sonny still looks pretty threatening as he considers whether Dex could be the monster who’s attacking Port Charles.

Soon, Sonny will be forced to turn him loose as the PCPD finds another body. Dex may have other crimes to answer for and truths to tell Sonny, but the hook attacks aren’t one of them.

GH Spoilers: The Port Charles Hook Lurks

A shot of a hooded figure dressed in black shows someone standing in an alley read to turn around. Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) reappears this week, but she’ll lurk around town before revealing herself, possibly paying a visit to Ryan. Could Esmé be the Port Charles Hook? She’d certainly have wanted to take out Ava, but where would she get the snake venom and could she take out Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) who interrupted a likely attack? Those questions remain to be answered!
