General Hospital spoilers suggest Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) is about to find herself in serious trouble. The 19-year-old college student hasn’t exactly been living her best life the last few years. Her first love, Oscar Nero Quartermaine (Garren Stitt) died of a cancerous brain tumor.

That left her scarred for some time until she found love again with her lifelong best friend, Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton). Joss was worried about getting into a relationship with her bestie, knowing it could spell disaster if things didn’t work out.

Now, they haven’t. Her relationship with Cam has unraveled as she has slowly developed a new one with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) newest henchman, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). What comes next for Joss is the last thing she’s ready for — motherhood.

General Hospital Spoilers — A Different Kind Of Love Triangle

Joss has been struggling for months to tell Cam she wasn’t feeling the same about their relationship — or him — as she used to. She didn’t want to admit it to him, or herself, but their love for one another changed after the sex tape scandal. Joss just couldn’t see herself being intimate with Cam anymore. For a while, she convinced herself the lack of intimacy was the problem. More recently, she hooked up with Cam hoping that getting back on the proverbial horse would fix everything.

Sadly, it didn’t, although Cam wasn’t all that aware that things were this dire. Joss has just broken up with Cam, and she technically started her romantic relationship with Dex weeks prior to such. However, her last sexual encounter with Cam was just a few weeks ago, and she just sealed the deal with Dex on New Year’s Eve. This is going to complicate matters for her when Joss finds out about the long nine-month road ahead of her.

Yes! Joss is going to end up pregnant, and she’s not going to know who the father is. Unfortunately, she wasn’t very transparent with Cam when she broke up with him. He knew that she had developed a liking for Dex, but he had no way of knowing she liked him as anything more than a friend or one of Sonny’s associates. Will she tell Cam the truth — that the baby may not be his? Will she let Dex pretend it is his child even if it possibly isn’t? There are so many potential angles to this, and longtime GH fans might feel they’re read this story before.

General Hospital Spoilers — The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree

Long ago, Joss’ mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), found herself in much the same position. She was pregnant by A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) — a man she no longer wanted to be involved with. In fact, she found his behavior a risk factor for her because A.J. was struggling with alcoholism.

Instead of dealing with the reality of the situation that she was pregnant with his child, she tried to pretend the baby — Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) — was the son of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), A.J.’s brother. They even went as far as to fake a paternity test, but eventually, the truth came out. Let’s hope this is one mistake of Carly’s that Joss can learn from without repeating it.
