General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 6-10 suggest that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will lie to her mom, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), about her WSB release. Will lightning strike twice, since Joss already fibbed about her secret spy life? Let’s talk about it!

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Joss impressed WSB Head, Z (John Oliver), during the week of June 29-July 3.

She not only eliminated double agent spy Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) by shooting him dead, but she also carried herself well throughout her hostage stint at Wyndemere.

Plus, Z may also be impressed by Joss’s ability to want to protect the WSB in the eyes of the public by offering to lie in her official statement.

As Joss promised to pin the cold fusion project on Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) – who’s also apparently dead – she showed her commitment to the organization.

While she agreed to the statement, pending the release of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), Z might like the fact that Joss is skilled in negotiating, too.

Now, Carly wants Z to release Joss from her WSB duties, but all arrows are pointing to the idea that the WSB head won’t agree to that plan. Or maybe he will?

It appears that Z has a little crush on Joss’s mom, as he’ll hit on her, which will earn him a slap across the face.

Still, some men like a little feistiness, so he may agree to releasing Joss to ward off Carly, but may have another plan in mind.

General Hospital writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, recently provided a summer preview to Soap Opera Digest (SOD).

The note that Joss will deal with her mom’s opposition to her career choice and “commit” to a fib that will carry repercussions for years ahead.

Z may agree to release Jason and Valentin, upon one stipulation: Joss stays in the WSB. There’s also a good chance the girl could get promoted, as she had some pretty cool moves during the Wyndemere standoff!

Still, in order to keep Carly at bay, he may ask Joss to keep things on the down-low. This will force Joss to once again lie to Carly about her career choice, but will Carly believe her?
