General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) makeshift tools may be the key to Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) freedom.
You could tell ways to use them to break out of the prison that Anna was in previously were going through Josslyn’s mind as she said out loud, “Thank you Anna” when she found them!
Anna May Have Taken Pieces From The Bottom Of Her Bed To Fashion Into Escape Tools
The tools look like Anna may have taken metal pieces from the bottom of her bed, which Josslyn now sleeps in, to fashion into escape tools-possibly to try and chip her way through a wall.
Anna may have intended to use them to either pry the door open or chip through the wall surrounding the door frame, whatever she could get to work.
But she was moved before she could start on her escape plan, leaving the makeshift tools behind, wrapped in a towel.
She managed to fashion the one tool into a point, like a chisel, and the other could be used as a hammer to drive it. In addition, the pointed one could be used as a knife to defend herself if she had too-extremely capable of delivering a fatal wound.
Josslyn May Have To Bide Her Time To Be Able To Get A Chance, Perhaps At Night
Josslyn may have to bide her time for a bit to be able to get a chance to start chiseling away at her chance for freedom-perhaps at night would be best. Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) never checks in on her at night, at least she assumes it is-there’s no way to tell; no clocks, no windows.
The only way she can judge the time of day is when he brings her meals, and even then it’s only a guess. But nighttime is always an escaping prisoner’s friend; she’ll likely start using the tools to try and chip around the frame of the door, to try and unhinge it.
The chisel-like tool is too big to try and pick the lock with, and besides, she thinks it’s a lock one has to push buttons to unlock, like trying to get into a safe with a number pad.
Where Will She Go From There, If She Makes It Outside The Cell?
Josslyn will have to allow enough time to do a little exploring, because after all, where will she go from there, if she makes it outside the cell?
She doesn’t even know where she is, although she suspects that it may be the sub-basement of Wyndemere Castle.
She wishes that she had more chances to explore the night she was snowed in with Ross Cullum, (Andrew Hawkes) who she now knows to be a dangerous double agent.
One thing she does know, after finding Anna’s notes and the tools, is that Cullum was the one who gaslighted her-more than likely impersonating Cesar Faison (Anders Hove)! At least so far Cassius hasn’t channeled either Cesar or Cullum!
