General Hospital Spoilers: Who Really Has Valentin's Heart, Carly Or Anna?General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question, who really has Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) heart, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)?

Carly and Valentin argued over this very subject when Valentin insisted he was going to France to rescue Anna, and Carly said he needed to get his priorities straight!

If You Can’t Be With The One You Love, Then Love The One You’re With?

An old song gives the advice, if you can’t be with the one you love, you should love the one you’re with, albeit it seems the antithesis of commitment!

 That seems to be basically what Valentin is doing, although he’s not consciously intending to use Carly, it’s obvious he cares for her and her family.

He hasn’t even known Carly as long as he’s known Anna-they go back forty something years to WSB spy school, when he went by “Ivan Theodore”.

Valentin loved Anna for years, though most of it was from afar-through her relationships with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan), and David Hayward (Vincent Irizarry).

That’s the only reason he cared for and mentored Peter August (Wes Ramsey) before it was learned he was really Anna’s twin’s, Alexandra Marick’s (Finola Hughes).

Anna Couldn’t Live With Herself When She Shot Charlotte Cassadine And That’s What Broke Them Up

Anna couldn’t live with herself when she shot Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) accidentally, and that’s what broke up her and Valentin’s relationship-her idea.

That goes to show how strong Valentin’s love was and is for Anna, because no one comes between that father and daughter!

Yet Valentin got tears in his eyes when he told Carly that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) broke Anna, and he had to get her out of the prison for the insane in France!

While Valentin cares about Carly and is concerned about Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) he believes Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) hid her for her own safety-Carly doesn’t!

It’s Obvious Anna Is The One Who Has Valentin’s Heart

It’s obvious that Anna is the one who has Valentin’s heart, and she’s had it for years, even before they finally got together-regardless of who he was involved with along the way.

Will Valentin be able to get Anna and break her out and be her knight in not so shining armor again, or should he make sure Cullum’s taken down first?

Any number of Port Charlesites want to eliminate Cullum and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and they likely won’t be around for long.

It would be better and safer for Anna if they were no longer problems, and if she were rescued and escorted back to Port Charles. What do you think-is Anna the one who truly holds Valentin’s heart, or does Carly even stand a chance?
