General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that racist Judge Naomi Carson (Anita Finlay) may sabotage Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Haley Pullos) bar exam in an upcoming episode of General Hospital!
General Hospital Spoilers And Rumors – Alexis Davis And Shawn Butler Discovered A Bias In Judge Naomi Carson’s Past Rulings
General Hospital viewers will remember that Molly’s mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and her domestic partner TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) birth father, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) recently made a discovery. As General Hospital viewers will recall, Alexis had been helping Shawn to try and get paroled, as he had pled guilty to a crime that he did not commit.
Shawn had told Alexis just to drop it – because there was a bias in the criminal justice system against people of color, and if she pursued trying to get him acquitted on the basis of bias, there could be severe consequences for TJ on the outside. Meanwhile, TJ and Molly were having lunch at Kelly’s and Judge Carson happened to encounter them as she was picking up some lunch.
She obviously did not like what she saw and made it a point to ascertain that Molly was not only Alexis’ daughter, but was going to take a job in District Attorney Robert Scorpio’s (Tristan Rogers) office as assistant district attorney after she passed her bar exam. Shortly after Judge Carson’s conversation with TJ – who is Black – and Molly – who is White – the prison warden and a couple of prison guards rushed into the library at Pentonville and took Shawn off, saying his library privileges were revoked and Alexis to solitary confinement, ostensibly for giving Shawn legal advice!
Worse yet, one of the guards pushed Alexis down on the floor where she landed on the same wrist she had previously broken and Alexis could be seen holding her wrist in pain as she was pushed down the hallway!
GH Spoilers And Rumors – Judge Naomi Carson Likely Helped Sway The Parole Board And Has A Long Reach
General Hospital viewers will recall that Shawn failed to get his parole, which Alexis had been helping with but would rather see an acquittal take place. Judge Carson likely helped sway the parole board, as she has a long reach, although Alexis’ own nephew, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) had a hand in it as well. Nikolas had hired a hit man to kill Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig), at the same time Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had instructed Shawn, who was his enforcer at the time, to kill “Jake Doe” (Billy Miller) who was later revealed – mistakenly – to be Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with plastic surgery.

Of course, after the real Jason showed up back in Port Charles, it was discovered that “Jake Doe” aka “Jason” was actually Drew Cain, an identical twin of Jason’s given up at birth and put up for adoption. Before his true identity came to light, Hayden had pulled a scam, saying that “Jake Doe” was her husband, and Drew had amnesia so he didn’t know. In a terrible mix up, Nikolas’ hit man shot Hayden in the head and Shawn was blamed for it. Nikolas doesn’t want Shawn released because he is still covering up his crime regarding Hayden, but he certainly would not want Alexis in solitary.
That is likely all on Judge Carson! General Hospital viewers will recall that Nikolas bought the prison so he could keep Alexis safe from Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) goons within the prison. Now that Judge Carson knows that Molly and TJ are together, and they are the children of Shawn and Alexis, Alexis was likely punished for promoting interracial relationships. Judge Carson likely does not have such a long reach that she would be able to influence Robert Scorpio against hiring Molly, but if she can influence a parole board she may be able to also influence the outcome of Molly’s bar exam. It would surprise no one that Molly, against all odds, could fail her bar exam and Judge Carson was the reason!
