Why Stitch Needs to Stick Around The Young and the Restless

Why Stitch Needs to Stick Around The Young and the RestlessThe Young and the Restless gave fans a treat last week when Sean Carrigan made a return appearance as Dr. Stitch Rayburn. As we have watched Abby (Melissa Ordway) do nothing but mope around for her latest husband, Chance, and await the birth of the baby Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is carrying for her, it was a breath of fresh air to see her interact with her former husband.

Can Stitch Please Stay In Genoa City?

There is no reason Stitch’s visit has to remain a temporary one. Even if the soap does eventually recast the role of Chance, having Stitch in town can add conflict as Abby realizes she still has feelings for him.

And even if Abby does eventually decide her life should be with Chance, don’t ever forget that Stitch also had a brief fling with Abby’s mother, Ashley. Carrigan and Eileen Davidson also had mad chemistry together and it would be a way to bring Ashley back full time and put her on the front burner once again.

Stitch Should Bring Max Back To Town

Yes, Stitch told Abby that Max still has troubles due to the brain tumor that caused him to terrorize Abby. The tumor was removed, but Max still has neurological problems. The character can be interesting either with his problems or without. This is a soap so a miracle treatment is indeed possible and Max can turn into an emotionally troubled teen as a result of all he went through the last few years.

The Young and the Restless already has two teens with a storyline in the form of Faith (Reylynn Caster) and Moses (Dax Randall). Max would be an excellent addition to their storyline. Abby would also have to deal with Max being in town, remembering that it’s his fault she can’t carry a child to term. Yes, a brain tumor caused all his anger, but Max was still the one who pushed Abby down the stairs resulting in her losing her baby and causing the damage that led to the current surrogate story. If it wasn’t for Max, Mariah wouldn’t be carrying a child created with Abby’s egg and Devon’s (Bryton James) sperm.

There is still so much for Stitch and Max to do in Genoa City that it would be a shame not to have them both back on a regular basis. Stay tuned to The Young and the Restless weekdays to see how this story plays out.

No! Please keep Max away, he might harm the baby that is handed over from Mariah to Abby and never doubt that Chance will be back besides they are still married and lots of people are against this other relationship she had with Stitch.. so let him play doctor cause that is his thing to do at the hospital and let him be just friends with Abby and she needs a shoulder to lean on if things don't go her way.
