General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that fans can feel as if Sam McCall’s end is nearing. Viewers know actress Kelly Monaco’s exit is imminent, and everyone is waiting for the final shoe to drop. The scenes Sam has had this week as she prepares to donate some of her liver to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) have been emotional, to say the least.

While most characters are simply dropping by to either thank Sam for what she’s doing or check-in, fans have felt like these are all goodbye scenes – especially the one she shared with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) on the Tuesday, October 22 episode. The actress recently spoke out about breaking the script during one emotional ‘final’ Sam scene.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Symbol For Love

GH spoilers note that Sam got prepped for Lulu’s transplant surgery on the Thursday, October 24 show. Her loved ones gathered to wish her one final ‘good luck’, as Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) wheeled her into surgery.

Characters included Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr), Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante), Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

As Sam was being wheeled out, she flew up her one hand and gave the “I love you” sign language symbol, as the episode closed.

GH Spoilers – Kelly Monaco Replies To A Fan On Social Media

Later on Thursday, Holly | #IStandWithKelly #SaveSam, @fangirl_810_ on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted the video clip of the scene above, with the caption:

“Ok I really need to know if that ‘I love you’ sign was scripted or if @kellymonaco1 threw that there for us #gh #jasam #allthefeels”.

Kelly Monaco responded to the tweet by saying, “It was not scripted (kissing emoji)”

It’s already been an emotional week for Sam fans, so it’ll be interesting to see how the show decides to kill the character off, and what happens next.
