General Hospital Spoilers – Kirsten Storms Is Taking Martial Arts Classes

Kirsten Storms recently shared some photos of her hobbies outside of her work on General Hospital. In one of the pictures, her young daughter, Harper Rose Barash, looked a bit upset as she had to wait for her mom during a martial arts class.

Being a single mother means bringing your kids along when pursuing hobbies, and it seems Harper wasn’t too thrilled about it on this particular occasion.

Harper, Kirsten’s daughter with ex-husband Brandon Barash, Stefan DiMera on Days of Our Lives, actually portrayed the very first baby Georgie Spinelli on GH. Kirsten’s character, Maxie Jones, who is also a single mom so art now imitates life.

When she’s not busy giving Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) the lowdown or navigating her love life with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Kirsten Storms still manages to fill her days.

Recently, she took to Instagram to show how her off-duty days impact her daughter, Harper; “Check out my little ball of sunshine. She’s thrilled I woke her up early during summer break so I could hit the gym with @zkfight,” she wrote alongside some snapshots.

Even though it might not be her top mom move, she’s definitely setting a positive example for Harper.

She added, “I’ve been putting in the work with him 3-4 times a week, and I enjoy it so much that I risk waking up a tired 10-year-old. I can’t decide if the first picture is my favorite (her face is just too adorable, I want to pinch those cheeks!).

She continues, “or if I should frame the last photo where it looks like I’m about to score against Zack (even though he blocked it). @akxeacademy.”

The “Zack” she mentioned is martial artist Zachary Kraschinsky, who trains with Professor Rodrigo Carvalho at AKXE Jiu Jitsu Academy in Agoura Hills, California. Her co-star Finola Hughes (Anna) noticed her dedication paying off and commented, “You’re looking good, girl.”

One supporter empathized with Storms’ struggles as a parent, sharing, “I totally get it – I have a moody 13-year-old who can shoot daggers with her eyes.

” Storms’ witty reply hit the mark, “Kids can be so sassy, right-Harper’s expression screams, ‘Just you wait, I’m going to act like I can’t hear you all day long.'”
